7 Chapter 6

Anaar Kali's POV:

As I placed the breakfast tray in front of him, he looked up in my eyes deeply searching to something. I faked a smile and then returned back to Ammi jaan who is supplying breakfast as usual for everyone Me, Baba Jaan and now for Saleem. She gave me my plate of delicious paratha and the curry she made yesterday. It's been almost 2 weeks since his arrived, and I started feeling really uncomfortable with his presence. His actions, his gaze made me conscious and I'm starting to get irritated. Yesterday, he talked finally about our marriage which supposed to happen one day. I can't help but cringed at the thought although it's strange as somehow it had to happen. He wished to take me back with him, to take me away with him.

"Ana! Are you okay?" He asked in low voice, bringing me back from my thoughts. We are sitting opposite to each other, face to face.

"Yes." I replied, still looking down at my paratha trying to finish it as soon as possible.
