Glimpse of truth B

Priest Maduk appeared beside the figure whom was struggling to his feet. It was strange the figure thought, Calm even after seeing the state he left those two in. "Interestingyou took out both Chiodi and Aja. I'm impressed.... Who..."

The figure cursed under his breath as his vibe suddenly surged out with a destructive force,the priest swiftly leaped to the air avoiding impact with his hand pressed against his hat forcing it to remain on his head.

Priest Maduk: Hey! Where are your manners?! I wasn't done talking!

The figure in a flash appeared almost behind the priest taking advantage of the Priest's blindspot with more bloodlust than before launching the half broken blade at his face which was now coated in black accompanied by black electric sparks.

Priest Maduk instinctively grabbed his arm with his left hand in that split second sent his left elbow to the figure's ribs cracking it's cage, knocking the out of him then with great force slammed his his right palm on the figure's chest simultaneously, " -Sin Breaker-"

An unknown force sends the figure down crashing to the ground threatening to burst the floor open.

Priest Maduk lands with ease and slots both hands in his pockets walking towards the figure who was barely moving. "Good thing I held back, You're not dead yet are you? If you just give me the ring I might just let you live considering that you were able to defeat a deacon and deaconess. Fair?"

The figure pushed hard on the ground glaring at the priest as he managed to stand up, "Arch! Such disgrace!!! We'll meet again and I'll kill you!"

The figure faded as those words left his mouth leaving no trace of his aura.

"Hey! Don't leave!!! Hey!!!" Priest Maduk protested adjusting his hat with smirk on his face. "Damn him! I can't even sense his vibe. Really sneaky technique."

Priest Maduk turned around pulled his hands out of his pockets and lit a blunt. He walked towards Wazobia and Aja, Razak stood away from them staring at Nan's lifeless body with tears silently dropping as his shoulder seemed taken by grief.

Chukun, without second thoughts, dashed into the tomb as his blank scared eyes met Heeba's cold dead face with fright still boldly written all over it, Chukun felt his legs shiver but his eyes for some reason couldn't produce any tear.

He met Aja and Wazobia as they tried all they could to make Chiodi comfortable whom was moaning silently in pain.

Priest Maduk: Let me see... Looks like a parasitic technique, it won't stop until there's nothing left of him and it seems to be moving fast.

He swiftly raised Chiodi to his shoulder as he hurried out, "Everyone quick. I've Nulified every trap. We must return to the holy temple at once,his life is fading."

Chukun dragged Heeba's body with one hand while carrying his head in the other hand.

Chukun wished Heeba didn't have to come up with such a greedy plan maybe then he'd still be alive, He couldn't cry, he was too scared to do that.

He hurried out but was already left behind, he cursed his weakness and fear with his teeth gritting then without realizing it he suddenly dropped both Heeba's body and head, "I've had enough! Enough with this fear! Enough!!! If I continue like this I'll always be left behind. People close to me will always die without me being able to do anything. Always!!!"

Tears had finally formed around his eyes not because of grief but because of his resentment towards his weakness.

He roared and clapped his hands together violently then solidified his stance before yelling, "-Gun Point-" In a flash he threw a punch with his right fist to the wall with a great force whose shockwaves shook the 12th floor as the wall bursted open.

The shockwaves could be felt throughout the pyramid which made everyone stop for a second before carrying on. Except the priest whom was moving too fast to hold on, focused on getting out but as he felt the shockwaves he had a slight grin on his face as he thought, "It seems we've lost two and gotten back one."

"I'll never be afraid ever again! I'll get stronger!!!" He grabbed Heeba's body and head, he jumped through the hole tearing through the wind down towards the trucks with gravity increasing the pull.

The priest got out of the pyramid as Chukun landed with a violent force which shook the earth raising a fog of dust. It cleared in no time as Chukun had a fierce expression on his face standing where the trucks were packed having Heeba's parts in both hands.

Priest Maduk stared at Chukun for a moment before hurrying towards him as he thought, "He seems different from before, can this much change be acquired in seconds? This kids have potential just like I suspected."

Priest Maduk: Are you alright?

Chukun: How do I get stronger Priest Maduk? How do I become free of fear? If I was stronger...

Priest Maduk: Hey, You're stronger now. I suppose you can feel it too. You've started the journey of getting stronger when you jumped out the 12th floor unharmed by the height.

Priest Maduk hurried to the first truck and layed Chiodi carefully down. "Only a dead man is free of fear. The moment we discover fear it sticks to us till it becomes part of us. It keeps us alive if the right amount is applied"

Priest Maduk patted Chukun's shoulder, " it kept you alive till now...it kept you alive so you could get stronger. I'm sorry about your friend..."

Aja and the rest exited the pyramid as they saw Priest Maduk standing with Chukun. Seeing Chukun whom was behind standing right there with the priest was one thing but the power filled aura which was being emitted from Chukun was a different thing entirely.

It was obvious that a transformation had occurred but Aja wondered if it was actually possible to go through such elevation in seconds. But she didn't have the luxury to keep thinking about that now. She hurried to second truck without Wazobia's help.

Priest Maduk:... It's not your fault but mine. Don't punish yourself with the bitterness you feel, let it fuel your motivation."

Priest Maduk quickly got on the wheels as Wazobia joined him trying to use his vibe to help Chiodi feel better. Aja could manage driving so she fitted into the driver's seat of the second truck with Nan and Chukun sitting silently behind.

Both trucks hurried on the path after exiting the gates of kemet, leaving only a trail of dust in their path.

Wazobia kept staring at the priest with nothing but hatred generating within him, "You could've prevented all this you know! If you were there order would have been kept,Nan would..." Tears filled his eyes and he clenched his fists, "...Nan would still be alive! Heeba wouldn't have tried to show off! Nan wouldn't have tried to save him!!!" He sobbed as he tried to stay composed with the anger burning his throat, "Nan...Nan...he believed in you, he told me all will be fine!! And now he's dead because of you!"

Chiodi suddenly grabbed Wazobia's robe with his eyes closed and his hands shaking, "Hold your tongue rookie lest you lose it! It's a priest you're addressing you moron!" He groaned and coughed up blood, " T-This is all part of the divine's will and who are you to question it!"

"Chiodi! Save your strength, he's right to be mad... Only the living can get angry" he said softly with his eyes narrowed on the road, "I'd like to hear all of it rookie,let it all out. Empty your heart so your soul can be free."

Wazobia couldn't help but cry, blaming the priest wasn't going to hide the fact that he was too weak and scared to do anything compared to Nan. His shoulders rose up and down steadily as his sobbing continued, "I was too weak to do anything, all I did was watch. I want to get stronger! Strong enough to change my fate."

Aja was worried about Chiodi as she drove, she hoped he wouldn't die from that injury. She wished Dada's vibe could help him heal just like it always does for her, Chiodi had always been strong and above many average gifteds, his strength and speed was something everyone had come to respect so she hoped it was enough to help him pull through.

Suddenly the Priest's truck came to a stop and Aja quickly came to a halt behind them to prevent both trucks from crashing against eachother. A pressure seemed to be originating from the first truck.

Priest Maduk felt the pressure too and so did Wazobia,it was surging from Chiodi who was now violently shaking out of control and grunting in pain.

"Is he dying???" Wazobia asked fearing the worst.

Priest Maduk looked behind to see Chiodi,he was both shocked and amazed. "It can't be..."

Chiodi's injury began to glow with a black substance gathering around it as he let out a violent roar shattering every glass on the truck as well as releasing a sound wave threatening to damage everyone's ear followed by a blinding light before calming down, returning vision back to everyone. Chiodi was now sound asleep with the distress gone from his face and his life life threatening injury was completely gone.

The sound wave could be heard miles away clear and precise. In a faraway land two unknown figures watched in the dark smiling at what seemed to be their success.

Unknown 1: He's awakened finally now it's time to visit him again...
