A Divine command

Light footsteps hurried in from behind them as a gentle voice was heard approaching, "Chiodi! Mama! Papa! The town is in chaos. Fire..." For the first time she noticed the two men in front of her with Eze and Chiodi standing in front of them, "What's happening Chiodi? Papa? Who are this men?" A beautiful looking young lady with long black hair and dark beautiful eyes which reflected her inner tenderness. She looked almost exactly like Nneka.

The second man vanished from his spot and appeared behind her with a flash. Chioma began to tremble as she felt the overwhelming pressure the man behind her gave off.

"Now that everyone is home, let's begin the party" the first hooded man said excitedly.

Maduk left the temple after meeting the evangelist and was on his way heading back but something was wrong. The peace in the air he felt earlier had swiftly transformed to a rampaging pandemonium with flames and cries replacing the serenity it had earlier. The whole scene was a perfect depiction of "Chaos on a perfect Night."

Loud cracks from houses being devoured by flames filled the air as a thought hit Maduk. In a flash he ran towards Chiodi's house, "Tch! Chiodi! Chioma! Papa! Mama! Please be alright! Please!"

He raced to the house with heavy thoughts trying to pull him down, his worries kept flowing at an untamable speed, he was itching every angle in his mind and interrogating every memory till he realized something. "Could it be about my mission? Who would it be? Why would someone want to violently alter the vibe of a gifted! Is that even possible!"

Up ahead was Chiodi's house but it's door wasn't in the entrance anymore.

Half the house was engulfed in flames and partially blown off.

Suddenly he felt a surge of bloodlust hijack the whole area like being in the presence of a bloodthirsty beast, he's eyes caught a figure shoot out of the house like a shooting star only that it wasn't in the sky, it went past him in a flash followed by a massive explosion.

Maduk still couldn't put together all he was seeing, he legs trembled at the view before him and his heart sunk.

A hooded man ran out of the house laughing loud maniacally. The man had a dominating vibe lingering around him. His eyes met Maduk and suddenly became silent as he sniffed the air before laughing some more. "Olofi! Oh no, Olofi's boy! Maduk!!!" He began to walk towards Maduk laughing. "You're right on time for the launching of my new creation."

Maduk gritted his teeth and dashed towards the figure stretching his right palm wide open as an unknown force

pulled the hooded man towards the sky. "Damn you! where is everyone?!"

Man 1: They died quickly don't worry. I tortured them only enough."

It was starting to become clear to Maduk as the weight in his chest grew heavier. The figure kept laughing hysterically seeing his words pierce through Maduk like a knife in a loaf of bread, Instantaneously he appeared in the air where he had used an unknown force to restrain the man. He launched a violent punch using his left fist at the figure which sent him to the ground with an explosive force, "Your jokes are lame, Where is everyone!"

The hooded man felt his whole body ach as he got back up with his grin growing wider, "Only my creation lives!!! He just went off, didn't you see him?" He said with his monstrous aura growing stronger.

Now it all added up, Maduk could see the clear picture, what he was supposed to do which eluded him became clear and now all he could do was blame himself, regret grew in his throat and his mind went sober. He grabbed his chest hoping to suppress the anger boiling like a spring above a growing volcano within him. "So he is the gifted to be forced to awaken. Which means the aura from before came from him" Maduk thought as his expression tightened and his face grew cold.

The hooded man was steamed up with a visible green aura surging around him, he had a hysterical smile on his face as the pressure he exerted hijacked the whole area. "Kiki! Since my partner isn't done I suppose I should send a message to Olofi. You seem well trained and exciting so your head will be the perfect message."

In a flash the hooded man vanished with no trace, Maduk fell into battle stance as his eyes hardened with concentration and his guard high. Every trail of the man's vibe was gone but the pressure remained flowing through the air.

Suddenly an unknown force pulled Maduk with a magnitude that stole any ability to react, The hooded man appeared in the direction Maduk was being pulled towards with both hands stretching out as he slammed both palms on the ground violently which generated a wave that swept towards Maduk with a great force. The collision knocked the wind out of Maduk as he was bombarded with no chance of escape. "- Great nest -"

Streams of energy ran around Maduk enclosing him in a transparent floating cocoon as the second hooded man and a blazing figure flashed into the scene. The first hooded man turned around to see the intruders, he began to beat his chest like a vicious gorilla as his build transformed into a more bulky figure. "My creation!!!"

The ground around the blazing figure was derformed, his eyes blazed red and his face had a grotesque expression with an unusual build in his structure, golden steam coated him to his feet, his legs fast and his fist clenched sending swift punches and accurate kicks.

It was Chiodi, He fought like a well trained deacon or even evangelist Maduk thought as he watched the scene before them.

Chiodi was besting the hooded man, Maduk watched Chiodi toss and attack him at a speed that marvelled him. His strength created impacts with the hooded man that stroke fear into any eyes that might have witnessed it,even without any training.

Maduk wondered what insane awakening this was, Gifteds went through series of special training to be able to control the vibe not to mention manifesting it. This men could alter a vibe, a vibe with such level of manifestation when awakened.

He stared at the first hooded man standing below who was laughing hysterically loud with his hands stretched wide in excitement, wondering who they really were, the first man recognized him by mere scent. Maduk punched the dome but it held back firm, he struck violent kicks at it but it made no difference, his attempts caught the hooded man's attention. "Uh! You can even move? I must admit Olofi's boy is amazing" he smirked as he turned to Maduk, "I wanted you to watch your friend tamed to a pet, then he'll watch me kill you without any will of his own"

He walked to the dome and layed his right palm, "I think I need to make you more comfortable to watch properly" Instantly Maduk was pulled down into a sitting position as his legs layed across eachother, "Kiki! This should do, Olofi's boy!"

Maduk sat feeling an overwhelming pressure pulling him down, he glared through the dome unable to move, "What's this power? So this is an example of what Dada talks about."

Chiodi was filled with rage, his mind was gone replaced by his surging anger but his body couldn't keep up. He was out of breath moving only instinctively, his vision was getting blur and his head was screaming pain. The second hooded man saw this perfectly by a punch he had just received which was way weaker compared to those that came before, he also saw Chiodi's eyes looking rather than seeing. This was an opportunity he thought, this kid awakened for the first time and was able to overwhelm him.

Everything he tried was parred with equal strength and speed, but now Chiodi's strength was depleting and slowly evaporating. Quickly the hooded man made his move, he grabbed the incoming punch Chiodi sent and launched a fierce stomp at Chiodi's chest knocking the wind out of him.

Maduk took deep breaths trying to analyze the situation, "He vibrated the vibe around to one direction with complete control over the waves it travels in to restrain my movement. Fascinating how Nature Vibers can easily flow with the rhythm of vibe itself and merge with it, I can do this as well" He closed his eyes concentrating on the core of the cocoon.

He felt his shoulder move after an attempt to move his hand, "I'll so mess you up. Seems like you're worth it." Said Maduk softly with his eyes still closed.

The hooded man felt the intrusion,he turned to see Maduk lighting a spliff. Maduk inhaled and exhaled, After that he left his helpless sitting position to his feet, "Hey! Yeah You! Chiodi is angry over there that everyone is dead. I can't just sit here watching your gorilla ass laughing like in a damned circus."

Maduk inhaled and exhaled as he placed his right hand on the barrier, "You need to Vibrate higher."
