IT WAS ALL LIE...

As soon as Zhi Zhi reached the hospital, she first went to the ICU ward where her younger sister was admitted. She is in the hospital for last 7 years, battling with multiple health issues.

"Lin Shi? How are you doing?, she asked softly. Lin Shi is her only sibling, two years younger than her. She was always a delicate child with fragile health. But her situation got worse 8 years back and after that she was staying in the hospital on and off. For the last 2 years, she is permanently here.

"Sis? I am good. How is Lin Shu? Why you didn't come last night. I had a physical examination. Doctors were looking for you", she replied in an accusing manner.

"Sorry I was busy with some work. Lin Shu is good. She will have her term breaks soon. I will bring her to meet you. She will be happy to meet her aunt", Zhi replied calmly.

"Aunt? Sis you also forgot that her mother is me and NOT YOU...", she almost shouted the last word.

"Lin Shi! Stop it. You are not healthy. Do not put strain on your body. We all know that you are her mother, but she doesn't, and I am not in favour of telling her. Let her live her life the way she is used to. Don't worry, I already accepted her as my daughter, and it will remain the same in the future", she replied in a resolute tone, not accepting any rebuttals.

"Right now you can say that but what about once you got married. She will be left behind like a garb...."

"I will not get married. So do not worry about it and do not use that term for my daughter in the future", she didn't let her complete her statement and continued, "I wanted to confirm something. Who is Shu's father?"

As soon as this question was asked, Lin Shi's face turned pale, and she replied in stammering tone," Sis you know the answer then why ask? It was Muye. I told you back then. We met at your school. You introduced him to me, and you know the rest".

"Lin Shi tell me the truth. I am no longer the 18 yr old girl who believed whatever you told me. I can clearly see that you are lying. Who was it? Whom are you saving? It is FREAKING 8 YEARS AND I DESERVE THE TRUTH LIN SHI...", Lin Zhi Zhi almost roared. After last night she was clear that things are not the way she thought they were, and it might be her sister who lied. So she just wanted to check the water first. But her reaction just now cleared all her doubts. Whatever she told her was a lie. Everything was a lie. IT WAS ALL A LIE....

"Why I chose to believe you? Why?", Zhi was more disappointed in herself, but she never thought her sister would lie about such a thing.
