1 Memories

In this timeline, her name was Evelyn. She was the woman of every man's dream. She was proud of what she was. A beautiful fair maiden whom every man sought after. She was the rebelling and carefree type. She was beautiful. With blonde hair, red, full, kissable lips, everything about her was wanted..her mom had always pressured her for marriage but she didn't want to. She smiled at the memory. Maybe just maybe if she had agreed to get married, she wouldn't be sitting in a warehouse reeking with alcohol and with glass scattered everywhere

"Am I destined to die today?" she thought with a bitter smile on her lips. She raised her head up when she heard the door creak open. An ugly looking man was standing in front of her and she knew she had to play her cards right if she wanted to live. She smiled when she thought of something

"Sir, is it just me or are you especially handsome, if I was untied I would have hugged you". she almost puked at what she said but the man seemed to believe it. He smiled smugly and then said " Too bad I can't untie you". She seriously wished she was untied right now and she would have kicked the man in his most precious place. She continued with the act anyway so she could save herself.

" Can this lovely sir do me a favor and tell me why I am being held here. You people are torturing a beautiful woman here, don't you feel pity for me at all". she hoped what she just said would work. Being kidnapped without knowing what you did was the worst.

The man finally budged and said " The master wooed you and you refused so he wants to torture you. You're still gonna die don't worry". There was a crazy smile on his lips when he said that and she could not help but feel creeped out.

She murmured grudgingly " I would hunt you down first". She couldn't believe a man would be so heartless to tell a lady she was gonna die soon. Who does that? She was still in her thoughts when she noticed the man's voice was too close and it turned out he was right in front of her face when she raised her head. It took her the whole restraint she'd been learning since she was a kid not to move back. Which beautiful lady would want to be next to an ugly man? She was too classy for that.

She tried to figure out who the boss could be in her head but she could not. Countless men had wooed her. The only man she thought was not presentable enough was a man who had a scar all the way from his left eye to his right cheek and he had a beer belly. If it was him, she would give him another scar before she died. Her eyes welled with tears as memories of all her close family and friends began rushing back. She could not cry at this moment. She strengthened her resolve and forced the tears back in. She needed to find out who the boss was. Her thoughts were cut short and she didn't even need to think further about who the boss was.

IT WAS HIM! The man with the beer belly and a scar on his face. WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE HIM?
