Mother, Father, Why?

It wasn't until a few hours later that I was able to properly see my surroundings. Curse these infants of eyes.

Lin Huang stayed in his mother's womb for hundreds of years but grew extremely fast after being birthed. (Lin Huang is the son of the main character of Martial World for those new and returning.)

My mother and father constantly fawned over me day and night, they were never tired. No surprise there because they are probably god-like existences.

I was more curious about where and when I spawned within the story. Martial World has a history of tens of billions of years. I did not specify when or when but that didn't matter considering my 2nd wish.

If it was after the story, well shit. I just hope some author induced luck will help.

Anyways my hearing was beyond what humans were capable of but I overheard my mother and father speak casually about "The Shattering."

So it means I was about 100 billion years behind the start of the main story. Well... okay.

The Shattering is basically a reverse big bang. It destroys everything so a new universe can be made or something like that.

Hearing how casually they spoke about it, I was fine until they said,

"Let's go on a quick trip to XXX Universe. It should only take about 150 billion years. Maybe our son will be able to control this universe's Shattering by the time we return."

What. The Actual. F*ck.

Quick trip? Only 150 billion years? Me, control the shattering?

The third one, easy no problem. Lin Ming could do it, so will I. But god damn are they evil.
