Hidden Fantasy

Hidden Fantasy- A Werewolf's Obsession... Aiden I trembled as I watched her leave me once again shattering my heart into a million pieces. You used to be my sunshine, the one I ignited from the inside for. Even if my thoughts simply moved your way for a little second, I used to get a rush of affection. I used to grin whenever I saw your face; I would yearn to dive into your eyes. I would have done everything you asked for and given you anything you want. My sadness is gruelling grief that comes in waves, robbing me of my appetite and sleep. It's a shard in my gut that never leaves, though the edges may mellow over time. It seems like death, much like grief, and it chokes my breath and short circuits my thoughts at quiet moments. What was once whole is now shattered; where there was once tranquillity, there is now emptiness, echoes of a love I gave my everything to. You take another step away from me with each passing day that you are not at my side, even if I urged you to exhibit some sense of compassion, affection, or love. You bring nothing except rage, distrust, and an averted stare. My only "crime" was not being able to handle your fury and the words you let slip out uncontrolled. I've always done my best for you and continue to do so today. As insufficient as you find me, this is my best; it's all that's left of a once proud and strong spirit - shards on the floor, afraid of being blown away by the next breeze. In my mind, there was only one thing that made sense right now. Would I ever be able to forget about her?...

Hidden Fantasy-A Werewolf's Obsession

Chapter 43-Alessia

As I absorbed the power of the Bloodstone and blasted it all onto the map, everyone rushed towards me. The map began to float in mid-air and glowed a magnificent golden colour almost instantly as if it were the piece of the sun. As the light became more intense, everyone immediately began to shield their eyes in protection. The map finally flared into the air, and when we could witness it again, it had coordinates on it and was still illuminating.

"What does that mean?" As they examined the map, someone exclaimed.

"It's longitude and latitude," I murmured, instantly knowing where they were heading.

"Do you have any idea where it is?" Aiden inquired curiously.

"Get prepared, everyone! We're going hunting for a Bloodstone!" With a satisfied smile, I stated. Almost immediately, everyone began preparing for the trip. We entered the front room, which was littered with firearms and weapons. I immediately started fitting thigh straps on and daggers in the buckles. Then I started getting guns and putting them on my shoulder. I had a little pistol in my hand and clicked it to see if it was loaded, and everyone in the room gasped. What was wrong with them? Olivia was already dressed in hunting clothes and began approaching me.

"I've seen this side of you before," she said, her face astonished.

"What side?" As I continued to place firearms on my shoulders, I queried her with a curious tone.

"The hunter inside you." She proceeded to remove a handgun from the table and place it in her leg pocket as she stated, "I know you're a Guardian, but you're also a part hunter."

"My father used to take me shooting when I was a kid. I failed to kill the fox we discovered, and when we returned home, he beat me to the point that I had to go to the hospital. After that day, I continued to train to make sure that I wouldn't make the same mistake twice," I lamented as I completed draping the weapons over my body.

As Aiden began to approach us, I looked up at the top of the stairwell to find him dressed similarly to myself.

"Are you guys prepared?" As he proceeded to strew firearms all over his clothes, he inquired.

"I'm as ready as I'll ever be," I remarked as I entered the Conference Room and picked up the map. The scroll quickly captivated me, and a vision emerged in my head. Images began to develop instantly in my thoughts at a rate so rapid that I didn't see them flawlessly. I noticed some sculptures of the woman in front of the entrance, as well as one depicting a battlefield oozing with blood from bodies all around and a woman in a beautiful silk dress draining the blood of a person screaming in agony. Her beautiful cider eyes almost engulfed me in a pool of pleasure. She somehow managed to whisper my name in such a soothing tone that I desired to approach her.

I tossed the map to the ground and wailed in anguish just as smoke began to form on my hand sizzling violently. Carefully after I blew my hand, I picked up the map and saw a name engraved at the bottom, and everything fell into place like a jigsaw puzzle that had taken days to solve. Ravana. This was the woman that created the entire supernatural race but why was I seeing her? As he glanced through the door, Aiden remarked, "We're ready."

"Coming," I answered, beaming. Gently, I grasped the crisp map in my hand and began approaching the individuals who had gathered in the front room waiting for me.

Everyone started heading outside towards the front porch at the same time, and Aiden stopped me just as I was ready to go out.

"Are you sure you're up to the challenge?" With a worried expression on his face, he inquired. I grinned as I clutched his hand.

"I am," I replied, my whole body shivering with anxiety as I went through the door. As I stepped out, the wolves started to scatter all around the front of the mansion making sure that nobody was going to intrude, and my nightmare was exposed. In a situation such as this, it would be odd to not have anxiety. What you face is legitimately difficult. In a way, it is a good sign, it shows that you can grasp the situation, that you aren't in denial as some folk are.

Slowly I walked in front of them with a pearl crystal inside my hand rolling it in my fingers. With the image inside my mind, I smashed the crystal but suddenly when a portal appeared it spun out of control and the entire energy exploded in the surroundings causing me to fly backwards but luckily Aiden caught me just in time as I began panting as I opened my eyes to see him grinning at me.

"Thanks" I mumbled with me in his arms. Slowly he put me down as everyone began to look at us with an awkward stare.

"Why didn't it work? You sure it was going to work Hunter" A wolf growled.

Aiden was just then about to launch himself onto the wolf but I clasped my arm around him preventing him.

"We're attempting to gain entry to the site where all of the supernatural world's magic is kept. It would never be simple". As I shifted the ring on my finger, I explained.

"How do we get there then?" Olivia inquired, her cheeks flushed with interest.

"Perhaps only a Guardian has access to the location," I speculated as the puzzle pieces in my mind began to fall into place.

"How are we going to get in then?" The wolves had inquired as I began to realise that they were unknown of my powers that I possessed and oh boy were they in for a real sweet treat.

"Easy, I'll simply make a gateway," I said, smiling on the outside but pleading on my knees that this would work on the inside. I desperately needed Noah back, and this may be how I could prevent him from becoming a Vampire.
