4 Chapter four

"Master, what did you summon me for?" Ling Wang inquired.

Ling Wang sighed, Han Lan's eyes darted, "It's been ten thousand years, your temperament hasn't changed."

"How could it? Master, didn't anyone inform you of anything that happened these years?" Ling Wang inquired.

(I would've perfected if they didn't, especially that son of mine.)

"Ling Wang." Han Lan spoke, "Since when did you have a son?"

Ling Wang coughed, "M-Master, your memory isn't great but I didn't expect it to be that bad, now you don't even remember I have a son, let alone anything else?"

Han Lan's eyes darted, "The last thing I recall, would be me entering into a resting state after the Great War against the Demoness. What else would I need to recall."

(If one didn't know her nature, they would've never suspected she was the Chief god of the heavenly realm.)

"Your right, Master." Ling Wang remarked, "Tu'er was wrong, may master forgive me."

(If she doesn't have any more questions, I might make out of this in one piece.)

"Fu Jin." Qing Chai spoke, "Is there something wrong?"

Ling Wang sighed, walking over and grabbing Qing Chai into the corner, "Master doesn't remember much, don't bother mentioning other things—that's all I ask, don't include anything about your mother or myself in there."

Qing Chai raised a brow, "She doesn't remember anything? Including…Mu Chin?"

"Ha, like I would dare bring that up." Ling Wang muttered, "Especially after he gotten reincarnated into the mortal realm, Master temperament isn't easy to appease."

"Ling Wang, what are you two discussing over there?" Han Lan inquired.

Ling Wang walked back, "Tu'er shall be taking their leave, Master. Back to the mortal realm, Tu'er doesn't intend to stay around for long."

Han Lan's eyes perked, "The mortal realm, why would you go to such a place?"

Ling Wang sighed, "Master, I'm not very welcomed as I once was, it's better to just let it slip by… I'll visit another day."

Ling Wang was gone, back into the mortal realm, exiting out of the room, in the courtyard, "Xiao Sa."

"San Ge, I was so worried." Yin Liu spoke, "What happened?"

"Hmm, that's a story for another day." Ling Wang remarked, "Indeed it should be."

(One problem at a time, one problem at a time. In this case, Qing Chai will likely become colder towards Master, but Master might meet their son, so…so confusing really!)

"San Ge, what exactly do you intend to do?" Yin Liu inquired.

"First, I want to take off this outfit." Ling Wang explained, "Second, it would be best to handle matters as they come to ensure things, and third, it best to be careful of who you trust, Xiao Sa."

Yin Liu looked over, "San Ge, even though we've crossed the northlands, the Capital isn't safe as back there."

Ling Wang sneered, "Xiao Sa, you have so much to learn. First, if you desire to become the next emperor, you'll need three loyal advisors. Lu Bing Yao, daughter of the Lu family…skilled in martial arts and clever mouthed, in dealing with business and money. Zhu Mingle, she's daughter of your Er Ge, so don't get any ideas. And last would be Mu Yak-To, she's the head of the imperial guards."

Yin Liu chuckled, "San Ge is really through."

Ling Wang sighed, (They are the same as before, nothing really changes.)

"Speaking of which, it's been so many years, I wonder if he'd grace is still full of flowers like before." Ling Wang muttered, "Knowing so, I imagine it is, I should visit it again."
