1 Prologue

A sitting man staring at the window with a blank look on his face and hands on his cheeks.

"How boring."

A sudden remark escapes from his mouth.

It is currently a stormy night with strong winds and rain.

Trees are swaying, and the roofs of the house are making irritating sounds.

"Sigh. If I could just do something more interesting to kill some time."

After the storm had passed.

It is time to clear up the mess it created.

Everyone is busy doing their job.

Some are cutting some downed trees that block the road. Some are taking photos and videos with their phones and being a hindrance to those working.

Some are just staring at nowhere and imagining some intense fighting scenes with the mess of the storm's aftermath as the background.

"Strong!" Exclaimed the man as he fantasized about a hero being beaten by the final boss.

"Hey you! Yes you!"

A sudden voice entered the young man's ears while he was having his delusions.

His eyes wandered around and landed on a cat standing at a utility pole as if a god, staring at him.

"What do you want? A hero or a villain?"

The cat asked him a sudden question.

But the man just thought the talking cat was part of his fantasy.

"Heh... A hidden boss."

The man answered excitedly.

"An unexpected response, but why not? Alright, good luck."

The cat whispered before disappearing.

Then the pole the cat was standing on earlier tilted and began to fall.

"Hey everyone, watch out!"

Someone screamed.

Noticing the sudden change of events

The man woke up to reality and noticed the anomaly.

He tried to get away from his position, but it was too late.

"Oh Sh*t"

The last words of the man before his tragic demise.

*Crash*

In a place filled with light, so bright that not a shadow could be seen.

No other beings could be seen aside from the ball of light in the middle, floating and trembling.

"Oh, soul from another world blessed by luck. I welcome you as the Supreme God of my world."

A loud voice, neither man nor woman, came from every direction.

The ball of light suddenly stopped moving and tried to answer…

"The world I am supervising is on the verge of collapse. If nothing is done and it is left to fate, what awaits is total destruction. Although I am a God of that world, but my very presence will spell its instant destruction."

It was interrupted by a monotonous voice.

Then it continued its monologue. Not allowing any interruptions.

"Even without their faith, it won't affect my divinity. But as I am its supervisor, its destruction means bad news to me."

As if it were its own thought and not to be said verbally, it still came as clear as a ringing bell to the ball of light.

'I see what's going on here' And so the ball of light thought.

"I made an agreement with someone, and here you are. The future is now in your hand, oh soul blessed by luck."

The voice finished its monologue and gave the ball of light the opportunity to talk.

"Question!"

If it has a hand, it would surely be raised up high for the teacher to see. But sadly, it doesn't.

"Ask, and it shall be answered." A positive response came.

"Where and what world am I in?" A question so basic that it still needed to be known.

"A world full of mana because of my grace. A world full of races that are born in the dawn and gone in the twilight. A world, only the strong survive. And also the cause of its own decline." An answer filled with pride and sorrow.

With that answer alone, the ball of light had some ideas brewing in its mind.

'Hell Yeah! Mana? Like those in fantasy novels that make you wield magic?'

"So you want me to exterminate all beings in that world that cause the destruction of that world, isn't it?" Confirming by the ball of light.

"It is. But it would be a challenge as it may not be the will of the world."

A response so cold but also full of compassion.

If extermination is the only option, there are many ways for it to do just that.

But no. It needs an answer that only living beings there would know. And as a god of that world, it sure has an answer but still needs this foreign soul.

"I see. In that case, running wild and killing unrestrained like a demon, not killing anyone like a saint who only knows good words or hero shouting 'Justice for bla bla bla' that is biased in his own race would be a problem." The ball of light stated this, but no response for confirmation or denial came.

'Huh, so that was the case. But maybe not? Explore and learn it is.'

With many other questions and answers done, it was time to end their talks came.

'For the moment of truth.' The ball of light expectantly thought.

It was trembling as if it cannot contain its excitement.

"As I am going to your world, with you as its god, are you also giving me some, you know, cheats? Like system, divine weapons, overpowered skills, very high intelligence that will learn everything instantly, beautiful babes that will make anyone cry with jealousy as my fiancé and childhood sweetheart, unparalleled beauty that makes any woman I meet open their legs in every turn I look, heavenly treasures dropping from the sky when I need it, time travel to correct my past and change the future, rewriting the information of items or whatnot, and many more examples available?"

It asked in one full breath.

And then it waited.

And wait some more.

And waited until a response came.

"That world is an opportunity of its own. Whatever happens and whatever you achieve are for your own good. Kill or be killed. Rob or be robbed. Betrayal or loyalty. Anything is possible as long as you will it."

But something unexpected was received as a reply.

'What a letdown, yo.'

"Not even a bit, like a blessing?"

Not convinced, it tried to haggle.

"If there is one, then, an environment for you to grow unhindered and protection until you reach adulthood safely and unnoticed." A thundering sound came that ended it all.

Like the final judgment, the world of light collapsed.

"Hey wait! You call that a blessing?!"

Exclaimed the ball of light as it slowly disappeared.

'Alright! As an understanding person, I accept it, as I know you have your own difficulties... For now, that is.'

He… hehe… hehe"

A creepy laugh in a dimly lit room.

"It worked… hehe,… my experiment worked!"

Said a man with bloodshot eyes and a look of madness on his wrinkled old face.

In front of him was a large cylindrical tank with a translucent green liquid. Inside of it is his experiment, floating and wriggling, showing signs of life of its own.

On a closer look, the thing has a resemblance to that of a newborn human child. But that's not all, as it also has parts that belong to creatures found in this world.

Two curved horns pointing upward in its temple. Short and thick, pointy thorn-like bones protruding from its backbones, and a long and strong-looking tail in the shape of a trident at its tip. Bladed arms and legs. clawed fingers and toes. Some parts of its skin are hard but flexible, and clearly, it is not a normal skin.

Besides those things, everything is normal. But it is clearly an abomination.

"Hehe… hehe… Humans, fairies, beasts, and demons. Who could have thought of combining them? Except me, of course! Me and no one else!"

Proudly proclaimed by the fanatical man.

"You humans who denied me in the past, calling me crazy and what not. Look! I achieved something you dared not think possible! Hahahaha!"

In this world, humans, fairies, beasts, and demons exist. Living in their own realms, they rarely interact with each other besides some trivialities like war and the exchanging of goods.

"Ahhh… my creation, my one and only child. Live and grow strong. Become my weapon of destruction and punish those fools who denied me my ambitions."

Said the man sweetly while hugging the cylindrical tank. Of course, his feelings are not those of affection towards its kin but those of an object of veneration.

"Now then… Let me observe you more and prepare some things that you will need to become strong."

As if nothing had happened, the old man returned to being a normal person. Then, left after observing the being for a while.

After he left, the being opened its eyes.

"Hehehe"

And let out a small laugh.
