Setting sail

Toshiro was practicing with his sword on his usual training spot, his figure was seen appearing and disappearing from time to time among the logs that were placed across the training place. wherever he passed, the logs were simply being split or cut into multiple pieces. Strange thing is that sometimes even though the sword is passed through the log it was intact. At times, the logs were split in half on his blind spot with a compressed air blade of Rankyaku. Toshiro stopped and looked back at the training field and smiled with satisfaction.

"A month long arduous training really pays off. I have managed to integrate my swordstyle with Rankyaku and this has evolved my fighting style as expected." Toshiro mused.

'During this past one month I have managed to max out soru and rankyaku. However, my sword skill is not moving past Lv9. I have a feeling that I need my own understanding of techniques i use to increase its level. And for this I need real fights. Thankfully I am going to escape....*ahem* going out of this island for delivering the ship that was recently built to an Island near by, which is only 4 days away. I have managed to get permission from Iceburg to go with the delivery crew.'

'I will go back and get some rest, the delivery crew will be leaving early morning tomorrow. Paulie left the Island for some repair along with his crew 2 days ago and will only be back after 10 days. And this has given me the opportunity. I am not going to miss this.'

Toshiro cleaned up the place in few minutes and left home. After reaching home he directly hit the bed. All the exhaustion hit to him and he quickly fell asleep.

Next day, early morning Toshiro got up from his bed and looked outside the window and it was still dark. He freshened up put on a white shirt and black pants with a belt.(A/N: Similar to the book cover.). He packed up his stuff in a long duffle bag which can fit his sword and his disguise coat and mask and left for the docks.

When he reached there he saw the crew prepping the ship to leave the island. He quickly got on the ship and threw his stuff in one of the cabins which was not occupied and started helping the crew with the sails. As the sun was about to rise, a loud voice was heard, "Ok everyone, Hoist the sails we are setting off.".

The person is Saraki, he is in charge of the delivery, also navigator of Galley-la and an ex-marine.

The ship that the crew was about to deliver is a large Barque which is usually used by a large merchant companies to deliver cargo. It has lot of cabins to keep the crew travelling in it comfortable. This is also one of the ships that Toshiro worked on during the past month.

'Ah...Its refreshing. I now have enough proficiency to build a ship which can sail in grand line. I have managed to pick up and learn the techniques from all the Dock 1's foreman. It's an achievement one can be proud of. Even though I am no where near the crazy efficiency of Franky, I am still a decent ship builder. As long as i have the plans I should be able to build a ship. This will be enough for my future plans.'

One day Later,

'It really is quite boring without something to do on a ship.' Toshiro was sitting on the deck with juice on one hand and a book 'Ship mechanics' on another.

"Saraki-san are we there yet?" Toshiro shouted leaning backwards.

"How many times do I have to tell you you brat? It is going to take 3 more days to reach. If you are bored, do something to help others." Saraki shouted back annoyed.

Suddenly there was a large boom and Toshiro could see a ship in a distance with cannons pointed towards his ship. It has black sails and flag. He immediately know they were pirates.

His heart started beating loudly and he was excited and also bit of fear was evident in his eyes. The crew on the ship are preparing to defend the ship. The pirate ship got closer and the cannons were being fired, but none of them were pointed towards the ship body, they were only pointed towards the mast.

'Looks like the pirates are trying to steal the mobility of the ship.' Toshiro mused.

As the pirate ship got closer the crew can hear the pirate captain shouting loudly.

"I am Captain Jammy B. And I have a bounty of 35 million. You better leave this fancy ship and run away. I will consider not killing you people. But if you are trying to resist then, I will cut down every one of you." Jammy B threatened the Galley-La crew.

But no one on the ship seem threatened. Saraki responded-"You better leave before I change my mood, otherwise i will have to cash in your bounty."

"How dare you speak to my captain like that. I am Jimmy B, with a bounty of 15 million. You will have to get past me to challenge my Captain." Pirate firstmate Jimmy responded to Saraki's threat.

Mean while Toshiro on the side was looking at what's happening and thought, 'What's with their names? They are definitely a comic relief right?'

As he said that he shot forward and jumped on the pirate ship shouting, "Let's go...!!"
