Chapter 3: childhood memories

So we all have our fair stair of childhood memories. Some are nice and others are traumatic. First day of school-

"It's alright honey don't be shy.... just go out there and have a nice time. I'll be back before you know it"

"Okay mommy!" I said smiling, that day was going to be great or so I thought. Now you may have guessed it already but females and males are separated in to different schools. Males learn to be tough and smart. While females learn about the fact they can do pretty much anything.

I ran to the other children excitedly. "Hi Im John what's your name?"

"Im Jack!" Said one.

"I'm Barnaby" said the the second.

But the third looked at me and pointed to the sign that says boys school. "Daddy said that only boys are aloud here."

"Yea mommy told me that too! Good thing I'm not a girl!" I said smiling.

"...." the children went silent.

Finally one spoke up "why do you have a tail and fluffy ears then?"

"Mommy says I'm special!"

And that was the day I found out that people didn't except strange.
