Predictable but unexpected

"Can you wait?", Leo was making his run when the lady stopped him.

"Yes, miss.", he stopped a little surprised. They would always pass each other and she stared him for awhile now but nothing out like this. "Do you want something?"

"Did we meet somewhere beyond the streets?", she was a little older than him. Probably a college student. A high ponytail with her long black hair on her waist. Her eye were blue but they shine purple on his sight. Winter gym clothes.

"No.", he said. "Did you study nearby?", she was looking intensily on him. "I'm sorry. I'm Leonard."

"Oh. I'm sorry too.", she stopped the intense glare. "I'm Danielle. I studied on the countryside till my last year on the highschool. I'm on my second year on the college now."

"So I don't think we met till today.", he smiled. "I live nearby. Maybe we can schedule to train together.", he said and start running on the place to return his training.

"Okay then.", she smiled. "See you."

"See ya.", they returned to run. After they got away he stopped. "She is even worse than Helen. I almost fainted on her presence.", he caught his breath. "Her Corruption is on 77% already. Maybe she is almost on the same level as miss Olivia."

On the otherside.

"Did he really not paid attention to me at all? I need to be more aggressive next time."

Back to Leonard.

"She might be a Dark magic user. I need to make a Magic Oath with her even if I don't want to be with her."

"Hey.", he heard at distance. He took a few steps back and looked at the street. It was Carol.

"Hey. What are you doing here?", he smiled.

"I left the Student Counsil now only. How are you?"

"Good while doing some exercises. Want company to get home?", he smiled at her losing breath.

"If we don't run I'll accept."

"Okay. So pass me your bag.", she passed and he put on his shoulder. "Lets go.", he extended his hand to her. So she holded. "What happened to you be this late?"

"President was a little off today. Something must have been happened to her. There are rumours that was dating someone of you class. Do you know anything about?"

"Maybe the rumours are about me.", he said and she looked at him surprised. "I helped her with something after she offered help me that time but she said that I was on her way. So ended with me being dumped."

"But this doesn't mean that she still are wanting your help then?"

"Maybe but I don't read minds.", he smiled saddly. "I'll be at disposal as soon as she call me."

"What are you helping her at?"

"Secret information.", he smiled. "If you want to know I'll tell you but then we'll need to end this relationship."

"But he can start again?", she asked.

"No."

"Have you cheated on me?", she asked.

"Yes.", he replied. "But only when I need to hide this things from you. I really wanted to tell you."

"So why don't you speak then?"

"If you had the chance of your life. You would trade it by the love of your life or keep it both?", he turned on her.

"You're having both but I'm asking you to give away from one, is that right?", he nodded to her a yes. She let his hand go. "I need to think.", she took her bag without him passing to her.

"I've loved you.", he said sadly. "Since the beginning till now.", he did as a friend but in this short time he couldn't see her as a friend anymore. "From friends to lovers."

"I need time.", she went fast on his front.

"Hey.", she showed up waving at him. "Lets go to my home?"

"Yes.", he smiled like a drunkard.

Her place was huge appartment. He heard another woman voices. She probably was sharing it with another college students. He was taken to her room. It was all white and pink with a little of purple. Some drawing on the wall.

"I'm taking illustration classes. Don't look to much.", he looked away as she said. "I use a lot of white and pink but the purple is my truth on this bedroom. Trying to deceive the others."

He was conscious on the inside and struggling to get out of her spell.

"I'm not like the other girls that bring guys almost every day. I select the ones that are particularly interesting like yourself.", she pinched his chin. "You weren't affected by my charm on the conversation. So this brought my radar up to you but that girl showed up fastly. Even tho she helped me taking you mental stability down I somewhat envy that kind of girl."

"Envy.", he said and her powers started to flow into his direction. Leonard thought on little things to bring this foward. He needed an outside impulse and one inside. With her talk and his catch. The gauntlet was equipped and used.

"Lets run on the streets next time.", he said and jumped out the window. "Ripristinare.", he stopped before hitting the ground and left running.

"What was that?", she asked herself. "The item popped on his hand and drained my power. He also know about magic. What was that for? It made he stop on mid air."

"What was that?", he asked himself. "She enslaved the world she was supposed to protect.", his phone was being called. "Hello."

"Where are you?", was his mother. He looked at the time on the phone.

"I'm finishing my exercise.", he lied.

"Are you? What's with all these wind then?", he noticed that he was faster than he needed by now.

"I entered a windy alleyway. It's nothing."

"I told you to be on the lights. Come here, Caroline's parents want to talk with you."

"I'm going.", he ended the call and looked at the moon desolated.
