Another wrong step

The classes were fast and Leonard tried to pay most attention trying to enhance his Intelligence score. Raphael went to the football. Some other friends chose to go to the mall and he was about to go home but miss Olivia appeared.

"I'll believe you.", she said to him. "We need to talk.", she was serious and this surprised him a bit.

"What are you talking about teacher?"

"I'm a Paladin, Leonard. I can talk to gods and they can answer some questions. So lets skip all of this, shall we?"

"Okay."

"So what's the role I'm supposed to be?", he asked after looking on his powers being added.

"I need another Paladin to fight by my side.", she said while they were moving and suddenly she stopped. "Lets enter this room.", she opened the door.

"Okay.", he entered and she closed the door.

"Silenzio.", she used a spell and a semi sphere was around them. "This will make the sound don't leave the bubble.", he nodded. "Since when you know about this things?"

"Couple days.", he knew the best was being sincere with her.

"I've been doing this for the last decade or even more. What is your role?"

"I'm supposed to help the heroes on the battle. A full support class.", he explained.

"How did you know I'm a hero?", she looked serious but both of them were nervous.

"I have a way to know but isn't simple to explain.", almost the truth.

"Lets not maintain lies between us, okay? I don't want to use Sense Lie on you.", she was sharp.

"I have like a RPG system to assist me and a pop up showed when you interacted with me on class."

"Can you invite me to a party?", she asked.

"I don't know truly.", he opened the Status and looked for a way to do but nothing appeared. "No but maybe my level is too low."

"So... you really want to help me?", she relaxed a little and pulled a chair to sit. "It's dangerous there."

"Teacher. It's my role.", he smiled. "And It's every man dreams."

"Okay. So I'll bring you on the weekend to Azuria.", she spoke. "I need to train you before we go where I'm used to fight."

"Okay.", he was anxious.

"See you in class and in two days.", the bubble popped and she left. A couple of girls saw she leaving and he there in the class.

"I'm little worried about all these situations.", he was right to be. "I'll look for Caroline.", he left the class too.

"Hey, Leo.", a voice came up on his behind.

"Hey, Mike.", was his another friend. They used to play in a band together. "What's up?"

"Not much. What are you doing here?"

"I need some help from miss Olivia. So I delayed my going to home. How is the band?"

"We need a bass player yet if you want.", his friend smiled. "And of course we spend a little money on pizza every friday."

"Good times but I'm not even touching the bass at home and something came up that I'm a little excited about."

"What is it?"

"I've found a new game to play. So I'm spending time on it.", he was trying to avoid lying but was hard. Too hard.

"Can you pass me the name?", Mike was a casual player. Leo thought that he would not matter to this too much.

"I forgot but at home I pass you the name."

"Lets do something another day."

"I'll see about that. See ya."

"Yeah.", they parted ways.

Leonard was too excited and didn't notice but he was on a bad spot. He forgot to find Caroline and went home. Another day of training. Crossed the heroine on another spot because of his delay. Looked like a crazy teen to the neighbourhood and went home again. It was his second day but he used a lot less of Minor Healing.

"Leo. Take a bath and come here we need to talk.", his father requested.

"Yeah.", he froze inside.

At the shower. The boy looked at his hair almost closing his sight was about time to get a haircut. Maybe register in some gym too. Even stop sleeping passed through his mind. With Minor Healing he wouldn't suffer from exhaustion. So he could use this time to train himself more and more but the problem lied beyond the physical. His mind would break fastly that way. He left the bathroom.

"I'm here.", he went to the living room.

"Good. Take a seat.", he father pointed at the sofas. He was a large man with a little belly popping. He had black short hair and black eyes. Both Leonard and Lisa were lucky to be like their mother.

"What's this about?", he sat on the couch.

"Why did you not introduced Caroline as your girlfriend to us?", the man asked.

"How I'd know that was that important to you all?", he had other things to care. Like saving by now five other worlds.

"We talked to her parents today while you both were at school. You'll go on a date with her on Saturday.", the man said.

"Wait. Is this about two days?", he noticed the problem.

"Yes. Any problem?"

It was now or never. He needed to make a decision. This world's girlfriend or the other world's future girlfriend and this world's actual teacher. His heart was in doubt there was nothing to be told or chose to be make was like he already accepted the fact that more than one would have his heart.

"No, sir.", the other world could wait or so he thought.

"Good.", his father smiled and his phone vibrated.

It was Mike asking for the game's name. He didn't had time to find a good one to fool his friend yet. So he went upstairs to his room and turned on his PC. He texted his friend that was about to get the name and started looking for a free game to throw at him. It was a little hard but he found a somewhat good to send it.

"Now, I must have to contact miss Olivia about that too.", he thought and the door knocked.

"Can I enter?", was his sister.

"Yeah."

"What are you doing?", she looked at the many tabs open on the browser.

"Looking for a game for a friend and you?"

"Nataly said that she would like to meet you this weekend but I heard father saying that you going on a date with Carol. So can we go with you two?"

And with this the problems stacked without him noticing.
