Hello everyone, author here! Since I don't want to put empty praises in the review, I will use this space to share some more technical info that you all might be interested in. Genre of the story: Dark Fantasy Genre of the story background/lore: Grim Cultivation Characteristics of the Protagonist: A clever guy who uses everything he has at his disposal to overcome the pretty bad odds he was served. Now, a bit more about the story itself: This is my attempt at writing an actually "realistic" cultivation story that's not even focused on cultivation. The aspect of cultivation is just the background, the reality of the world where most of the story will take place, not its main focus. So, don't expect people splitting mountains with a single strike or going against the heavens. You can expect quite a bit of politics, the dark sides of human nature or brutal reality filling every nook and cranny of the world you are about to dive into. Technical aspects and FaQ: - Release rate: 2/day + occasional mass releases - Will this novel be premium? - Yeah. There will be about 50-60 free chapters first, though - Will there be hare and m? (WN censo and r disallows using it in a single word): Yes and no. There won't be a singular Female Lead that will reign supreme throughout the entire story, but MC isn't going to get a garden full of beaches (intentional mistake) either - Will there be lemons? (honestly, no idea how else to call it to avoid the cnsrship)? - Most likely... but I plan to save it for quite a bit later into the story. I'm fed up with using booba as the selling point of the novel so I'm going to give the romance proper time to develop. - Will there be romance? - Yeah, duh, it's Sloth novel, let me project my wishful thinking a bit, would ya? - Will there be brutal scenes? - Yeah. Quite a lot and quite soon. This isn't going to be the smiles and candy-type of a story where everything goes MC's way. All in all, if you have any questions, feel free to post them in a reply to this review and I will do my best to reply!
This ongoing WebNovel is a must-read for anyone who loves a good story. The author's writing style is so engaging and the world they've created is so immersive that I'm constantly captivated by the story. The characters are so well-developed that I feel like I know them personally, and the ongoing nature of the story only adds to the excitement and anticipation. I highly recommend this WebNovel!
It's a very interesting tale much worth the time. Though there are very few chapters yet, I ended up reading them all in a single sitting. The writing quality is high and simple and the story seems to be developing interestingly. I enjoyed seeing Theo's character and his use of his wits in his situation. It's an interesting book with very fluid and concise system mechanics. Hoping to see more! Kudos, keep going Author!
This novel is so well written. The author's work is of high quality and practically flawless, and the updates are consistent. The story develops at a slow but steady pace, making it enjoyable. The characters are well-designed and described. The world is well explained in detail. All in all, this is an excellent start to a very interesting novel Keep up the outstanding work!
I definitely would recommend this book. I’m in love with the characters and the way the author is able to bring them to life. The worldbuilding sucks you in from the first chapter, leaving you at the edge of your seat with each chapter. The writing is balanced between tone, description, scenery. It all melts together in an eye catching tale. Do yourself a favor and dive in. No regret whatsoever
First review! I've read it already, so I will post the review here! The story is interesting. The world building, the characters, and almost anything in this story hook me up. How the author write every character really show their personality well. They have personalities and all of that which can be found in real people, and I like it. You should give this story a try, 5 out of 5
