Alex looked towards Hana with a confused expression, "What's happening tomorrow."

A small smiled formed on Hana's face, "Well, your abilities will be looked into. We have someone who can analyze your awakened powers and grade you according to how much you can grow and control your powers. They will also help you find out what your powers exactly are. We usually do this before recruiting someone who has a higher potential. And from what you've shown within the first day of awakening, I would say that you have will be S rank with practice. That is unless something wrong doesn't happen like your potential ending or you becoming heavily injured. But I think that you will be fine."

Alex nodded, "But why to go shopping?"

Hana shook her head, "Silly boy, Do you not need clothes? You can't just stay here with one pair of clothes. And the haircut so you will look less shaggy. More like a proper awakened. Now, stop complaining about it and come along. We're nearly there."

Alex looked outside, The night sky was dark but the roads were bright. Lights everywhere. People were going on with their life as nothing had happened. They weren't concerned at all with the previous C-Rank gate.

'They must be used to it before, why else would they be so calm. But the situation behind the scenes must be a bit hectic. There is a loose reaper which even the higher tiers can't find.' Alex said to himself as he looked towards Hana.

"Why are you helping me? There is a loose reaper running around. That poor girl in the test was nearly dead cause of it but you're helping me… I'm not telling you to not help me but I'm just confused about why you would help me." Alex asked in curiosity.

Hana sighed, "I knew you were going to ask that. Well, it's simple. While I was gone in the bureau, It was to talk to the government leaders. They essentially told me that this was a matter of military concern as us, being high level awakened didn't notice the reaper had controlled Rhino. They lost some trust in us and is making the military in charge. I didn't expect Mary to be there, I thought that I at least had the liberty to do the questioning but that was also handed to the military. So right now, I just want to relax. I needed to go shopping anyways."

Hana then smiled "It's also that I took you with me to the facility. Why I did that? because I hadn't met someone like me, who didn't want to have a second name for myself. I didn't make myself a surname to remember my past. I sympathized with you and wanted to have a normal conversation. That and you also seemed different than the others. It was Like a mysterious aura was around you that would not let me see inside. AH, I'm just blabbing on." Hana shook her head.

Alex smiled and nodded, "I was dropped in an orphanage. Watching other kids with their parents made me depressed but that was when I came to a conclusion. I told myself that I'd be my own man, I didn't need parents to support me and that I could do anything that I wanted… and what I wanted was to be was a hero, someone who didn't abandon anyone, someone who listened to people's problems, someone special… Someone who was looked up to."

Alex took a deep breath, "And I guess I formed an obsession with being a hero. It was all that I had as my hope. But after what happened today. Even my last beacon of hope was broken."

Alex looked down, his eyes were dim. Hana, concerned for Alex, slowed the car and looked towards him. She didn't know what to say. She sighed once again and sped up the car.

"Alex, I dislike thinking of my past but I know how you feel. Don't worry, now that you're here, that also with power. You will be able to do something. You will be able to become the person you wanted to be the most. I know that You will. I believe in you."

She took a turn, "Now look, we're here. Tonight, I have something else to do. We need to get your clothes and a haircut by 9. I'll need to reach somewhere by 9:30."

Alex nodded, he knew this wasn't the time to sulk. He had a system that was making him stronger and knew that he could use it to fulfill his dream.

Alex got off the car and followed Hana. Before entering the huge mall, Alex looked around him.

There were restaurants, karaoke, street food, and so on. People were having fun, drinking in bars, and sharing meals in cafes.' Everything in this city is peaceful.' He smiled, his mood uplifted seeing the people enjoying their lives.

Hana looked back at Alex, a sad expression on her face. But before Alex could see it, she turned and walked towards the clothes store. Alex swiftly followed behind.

-An hour passed. 8:30 Pm-

Hana looked towards the doors of a changing room.

A few minutes later the doors opened. Alex, who now looked completely different walked out. He looked towards Hana and said, "Is this good enough?"

Hana looked at Alex from top to bottom.

Alex still had medium length hair but his sides were trimmed which made his face look cleaner. He wore a black shirt and a long trench coat. His pants were also black and his shoes were black and white. As he stood, some of the other female customers couldn't help but glance at him every few seconds. Alex was completely different from before. Even his aura seemed to have changed a bit.

"You look good in the entire black and white aesthetic. It suits you well." Hana said as she looked towards the shop owner and gave her a card, "Put it on my tab."

"Yes Ma'am" the shop owner replied with respect after seeing the name written on the card.

Alex scratched his head, "I owe you…"

Hana shook her head, "You don't." Hana smiled.
