Esteban, George, and Angela ran to the car, which was a freshly waxed 4x4. It almost looked brand new, but once inside the car, Esteban remembered: "shit, my backpack !!" And he ran out to look for her.

"Are you serious?" His sister complained about him.

"This kid ..." George didn't even know what to say when he saw his son running back to the house.

5 minutes later they were already on their way to school.

The three were in total silence, George concentrated on driving, Angela stared at her cell phone, perhaps checking her social networks or watching funny videos.

Esteban on the other hand took a strip of bacon from his breakfast, with due care not to be discovered by his father and put it in his mouth. He lowered the car window, letting the wind ruffle his hair and closed his eyes.

He couldn't describe his feeling very well, but he felt at peace and harmony. Every so often he would open his eyes and revel in the beautiful, peaceful view of Delka city in the morning.

Delka city could not be considered a great city, but he had everything he could need.

"Ahhhhh !!" Angela cried out in surprise and covered her small mouth as she looked at Esteban. "Ban. You are celebrating your birthday today !!"

Esteban opened only one eye and stared at her. Trying to tell her with his eyes how obvious her statement was.

"I'm disappointed that you won't remember!" Esteban smiled. "You really are the best sister I could have wished for."

"Hey !! If I remembered, that's why I'm telling you." Angela rebutted as she pinched him.

"Do you think I don't know, which fecebook sent you a reminder?" Esteban looked at her with disdain. "Otherwise, I highly doubt that you will even remember your own birthday."

Angela was silent for a moment, before exploding.

"What did you say?!"

"Any!"

"I know what you said, but I'll let it go because it's your birthday. That doesn't matter though ..." Angela looked at him with a big smile on her face and a curious look. "Today you turn 15 years old. The million dollar question is ... What power will you awaken?"

Esteban's face abandoned all signs of drowsiness and took on a more serious hue. He looked both ways and at his father, with a face full of caution, he called to his sister who will come closer and whispered softly in his ear: "I don't know." And he blew softly.

"Heyeee !!" Angela jumped in surprise, covered her ear and looked at him resentfully. "If you don't want to tell me, that's fine. It's not like I will care!"

Although that's what she said. Esteban could notice that he regularly cast worried glances in his direction, as did his father, who occasionally gave him a complicated look in the rear-view mirror.

But Esteban couldn't do anything about it. It was a very well known fact that no one, absolutely no one knew what power was going to wake up on his 15th birthday.

The powers had no logic in this world. Your parents could both be fire manipulators, that their son could very well awaken any power, such as telekinesis. Everything was completely random and nobody knew why. Nor did anyone know in itself, because the powers were awakened and in addition to that, at the age of 15 years.

A clear example of this was his father. Since his grandfather was capable of creating and manipulating water, but his father awakened the power called the creator of magnificent models. Thanks to this power, his father was one of the most renowned architects in the entire city and even the region, but he could never actually do what he had truly dreamed of.

He had a great, beautiful home. A beautiful wife and friend, wonderful children, and enough money not to worry about him for the rest of his life ... But he didn't feel fulfilled.

His dream was always to be a doctor, but who in his right mind would choose him over a person who had awakened the 'healing touch' or 'heal' power.

So the power you awaken on your 15th birthday will completely define your future.

Something that also had to be taken into account was that there were what were commonly called 'useless powers'.

Esteban didn't know much about this topic. But he had an uncle who had awakened a useless Power. He is the younger brother of his mother who was now engaged in simply being supported by his parents. Since nobody wanted to use it.

The power of it is very simple.

His uncle could make himself explode, but the consequences of using his power were obvious. It was a one-time power, plus it was completely useless in any kind of employment in this society.

Esteban didn't want to show it so as not to worry his family. But the truth is that he was very afraid, he did not know what he would do if he awakened a garbage power.

He may not have felt it so far. But in this world there was a lot of discrimination based on your powers. Before your 15 years no one would tell you anything since they do not know if you will awaken a great power or not. But once you turn 15, you will be discriminated against by those who have better powers than you.

Something very similar to his previous world where money was the law, but in this world it was the powers. Although of course there were people with extraordinary powers who did not discriminate against anyone, but there were more people who did.

Until today Esteban was someone completely invisible in his class, without any friends or acquaintances. But he he knew that was about to change today.

"We are here." George parked his car in front of a big school where even if he tried hard, Esteban couldn't see his end.

Taking a deep breath, Esteban grabbed his backpack and stepped out, pulled up his hood and lowered his head.
