I usually never write reviews but I had to after finishing this story because it is simply that good. What I like about this story is mainly the mc. Unlike in other stories where the mc is perfect and can do everything is that this mc makes mistakes and learns from them. You get to see how a regular human who killed himself slowly changes his perception of the world, the way he acts, thinks. He realizes that his action not only has an effect on him but also on innocent people.

this is the first novel I like how main character acts and fights starting with the domminance to show how strong he is and maintain a authorative position during group fights.

Author puts in a lot of work into his writing despite starting the novel as a relatively new writer, I love how the novel steadily progresses upon it's own unique way. MC doesn't act like a coward which in comparison to most OP MC's who act like cowards it's a fresh approach. Thanks for your hard work author!

I personally enjoyed everything this author has created for this story so far, the writing, the world building, the character design, character progression, not to mention the sheer brutality of the world the mc is in. I found all of it appealing and look forward to seeing just how far this amazing author can take this impeccable work of pure art.

this is my first ever webnovel I have ever read and I actually like waaay more the anime and manga it's amazing the characters are so full of life and the story of the novel is simply astonishing to the readers eyes. I LOVE IT😍❤️

Extremely in depth character development rarely seen in other similar stories. Excellent world building as well. Definitely one of my top 10 favorites.

I can say that this is one of my all time best novel I have read from Webnovel. good characterization and thanks to author who even provides a picture reference(he is too good at this!!) and chapters release is definitely one per day. Anyone who is reading this review without reading the novel, I suggest them to read the entire volume 1 of this novel(cause that is all that have been out)

This novel's great, from the way it starts and how the Author explains something is entertaining and I like how the MC is smart to think of long-term instead of just a short-term development which makes this an very awesome novel.

Honestly, I didn't know what to expect when first reading the introduction but....OMG I'm so glad I gave it a shot. Semi slow start, typical to set the stage for rising stardom. Great story, great art work and vision when shared with the readers to get a peak into the new world. Definitely RECOMMEND giving this story the benefit of the doubt to keep you captivated. 👏 👍

So the Author at the end of part one asked for a review if we could so here I am. My thoughts on this novel is that the main protagonist is interesting, I love the system and on the most part the combat and monsters are fun and enticing. My only criticism is that the main protagonist feels like he is getting way too strong too fast, but with the new arc I’m hoping that will feel less jarring. Anyways totally recommended to read

hello so I'm someone who finish update with the chapter and I'm not someone who really write review but if you want to find a novel that the mc isn't stupid or like this person who help everyone and their cat then this is the one.

The book is a masterpiece full of fantasy and it does not contradict itself the author is also very open to ideas and is very included with the readers.if you were lookig for a diamond in the rough then you found a hord of treasers in finding this book.

look at the tags if u like them read this baby. its a fun read, well writen, things happen fast, no over the top postring and a converstions that consist of a few secntances taks 7 chapter. very enjoyable story. cant wait for more.

I love the novel so far and it really is more unique and different than the other novels. It has a good environment and a nice world-building that I feel gives it that edge in some aspects. I also like how it gives a whole gritty and dark feel when you starting reading more chapters which really gives it more creative. I also like how the MC is smart in a way and knows how to adapt to situations unlike other novel MC's, and how he basically is a lone wolf type character which this novel has done right. Besides the kinda maybe ripoff of Solo Leveling which I don't mind the novel is really good and worth 5 stars, hope to see more.

Solid story. Could become something great. The character is especially well-written and more realistic than in other stories. I hope it doesn't become like other generic op fantasy-stories.

I would like to give this novel a 5.0 star rating because this has the best World-Building and plot theme I have read in my life. Apart from novels like SGWM, which is my favourite book at the moment. This is just plain gold, and development of the character progresses along each arc. Hero of Darkness is just too good to be a mere Webnovel; I have read thousands and thousands of books but it feels so addictive like this own. And Author please get well soon, coming from your loyal fan.
