However being a hero isn't granted for free, when one becomes a hero, they receive a task from the gods. It must be accomplished otherwise the hero will be cursed. There are different kinds of tasks, from the simplest ones such as helping a village survive through the winter or to raising a country from the ashes. But the rarest task is to slay. The current generation's hero, Raymond, is tasked to slay a demon that will appear in his city. And this demon is none other than her daughter.
