1 Chapter 1: Prologue

Blue torches burning on white pillars illuminated the large throne room. In the center of the room stood a majestic throne a few meters off the ground, reached by stairs. On the throne sat a stunning woman who exceeded all known standards of beauty.

She had bright purple eyes, silky light purple hair and an otherworldly face that mesmerized those who looked at it. Her thick legs, visible from where she was sitting, and her enormous breasts protruding from her cleavage, made those who saw them imagine different fantasies, but there was no one in the room that could admire her extraordinary beauty. With crossed legs and a slight frown, she was looking towards the door of the throne room.

After a while the big door to the throne room opened wide and a blond-haired man entered. As he entered, the room seemed to light up a little more and a soothing aura spread with him. This man was immeasurably handsome. His blue eyes seemed to have a magnetic field that drew you in. With his flawless face and the light armor he wore, he looked like a god who had descended from the sky. His cloak billowed as he walked, creating an impression as if a prince from a fairytale was coming. After entering the room, he walked confidently in front of the majestic woman sitting on her throne and got down on one knee in front of her. Facing the floor, he began to speak in a respectful manner.

"Goddess Livian, I am ready for the mission you will entrust me with."

When the Goddess heard the words of the handsome man in front of her, the pout on her face grew. After a few seconds of silence, she exhaled a deep breath and began to speak in her captivating voice.

"Listen, Edwin, my chosen hero! The mission I have given you is to purge the evil that has taken root in the world called Aspranie and to strengthen the faith of those who believe in me there. To fulfill your mission, I will send you to the Trianta Empire, founded by people who are devoted to me. From the people there, you can learn more about the world's situation. So, do you accept your mission?"

At the goddess's words, Edwin looked up at her with determination. "I gladly accept the mission you have given me, Goddess Livian!" At his words, the goddess sitting on her throne raised her right hand and a white beam of light traveled towards Edwin and entered him. Edwin felt a little warmth in his chest and knew he was now officially entrusted with this holy mission.

The Goddess Livian squinted at Edwin for a while after her actions. Her purple eyes began to glow with displeasure. "Edwin, now that you have received your mission, we can talk more freely."

"As you wish, Goddess Livi-" Edwin had not finished speaking when an angry voice interrupted him. "ENOUGH!" The goddess's voice echoed through the room. "How many times do I have to tell you not to call me like that!" Her expression turned frightening and the space around her began to bend as she unleashed her power.

Despite all this, Edwin merely looked at her with unconcerned eyes. After all, he had gotten used to Livian's tantrums over time. He spoke in a gentle, helpless voice. "Livian, calm down." With those words, the goddess instantly withdrew her power and the surroundings returned to their original state as if nothing had happened.

The goddess's sullen expression disappeared in an instant and she looked at Edwin with a smile that could mesmerize anyone who saw it. She raised her head proudly in triumph. "Hmm, that's better, my dear hero." Then she stood up from the throne and began to descend the stairs in front of the throne in a sensual manner. When she came to Edwin, she stopped in front of him. She grabbed him with both hands and began to lift him to his feet. Edwin did not resist her actions and slowly rose to his feet.

When Edwin stood up, Livian looked into his eyes for a moment with deep emotion. She put her right hand to his cheek and began to caress it gently. With a sad expression she began to speak. "Edwin, I don't want to send you on a mission like this, but there are rules I have to follow." she continued with an angry expression, turning her head to the side. "Hmph! Besides, if I don't send you on any mission, my idiot sisters are sure to start nagging me."

"Goddess Liv-" Edwin corrected himself as he saw space bending again. "Ahem, I mean, Livian, you don't have to worry. I became your hero to help people anyway, and I have no complaints about that."

Seeing Edwin's resolve, the goddess stared at him as if mesmerized and then sighed deeply. "That's why I don't want to send you away, Edwin." She squinted her eyes and continued speaking seriously. "There must be a lot of hungry women waiting to eat someone like you!"

"..." Edwin was taken aback. He was speechless at the words of his goddess.

Seeing him like this, the goddess sighed sadly. "Haaa... Edwin you really don't realize how handsome you are. If a man like you, a beauty that would shame the gods, wanders in such dangerous places, he might be attacked by vulgar women." After her words, she grabbed Edwin's head with both hands, turned it towards her and looked directly into his eyes, than she spoke in a serious voice. "Listen to me, Edwin! If you find yourself in this kind of trouble, run away! Don't look back and don't force yourself to complete your mission. I will somehow convince my idiot sisters, so don't worry!"

Edwin's eye twitched as he heard Livian's words. He gently took Livian's hands and spoke in a comforting voice. "Livian, you know I'm not weak. You don't need to worry about such things." He tried to let go of Livian's hands, but the goddess in front of him shamelessly continued to hold them tightly. After a while, he took a deep breath and continued speaking. "Besides, you can't ignore your responsibilities for me. So please don't say such things."

Livian looked into Edwin's eyes for a moment upon his words. Then she sighed and spoke in an accepting tone. "Alright, I'm not going to drag this out any longer."

After her words, she let go of Edwin's hands and took a step back. Recovering herself, she spoke again with a serious expression. "Edwin, there are some things you must remember before you go." Seeing the goddess's serious demeanor, Edwin knitted his brows, put on a solemn expression and began to listen to her earnestly.

"First of all, you must prioritize fidelity by refraining from having relationships with other women." The serious expression on Edwin's face vanished after her words. The goddess, who didn't mind his mood, continued.

"Secondly, try not to be alone with women for a long time. You never know what sort of schemes they will try to pull on you."

Edwin couldn't take it anymore and retorted. "Livian, please! Don't exaggerate so much!" Ignoring Edwin's words, Livian continued.

"Third and lastly, you must never, ever go to my sisters' temples in Aspranie." Her voice grew more serious and her purple eyes began to swirl like two deep whirlpools. "Edwin, I'm really serious about this, it is something you absolutely should not do, do you understand me?"

"Haaa… You don't-" In mid-sentence Livian grabbed him tightly by the arms and looked him in the eyes. "Do you understand me?" Her voice had a seriousness Edwin had never heard before. Her glowing purple eyes looked alarmingly dangerous. Seeing all this, Edwin nodded, not quite understanding what was happening.

"Good..." Livian exhaled deeply in relief and let go of Edwin's arms. "Now, you can go on your mission, Edwin. Remember, come back here as soon as you're done there." Then, squinting his eyes, he added in a dangerous voice, "And don't fool around with other women."

Edwin shuddered as he looked into Livian's eyes. "O-of course, I'm only going there for my mission, after all."

"Hmm, I'm glad you understand." She continued, her face full of longing. "See you later, my dear hero." Then she waved her hand and the area below Edwin began to glow. Edwin disappeared after a while, leaving Livian alone in the throne room.

Livian stared for a while at the place where Edwin had disappeared. Then she turned around and walked with slow steps towards her throne and sat down on it. She covered her flushed face with one hand and exhaled a warm breath. After a while she began to mutter to herself. Her words contained a frantic possessiveness. "Haaa... My Edwin was gorgeous, as always." Then she took a breath to calm herself and pulled herself together. "I have to be patient, he has to get stronger mentaly and complete his mission. Then I'll make sure we'll be together forever." A big, distorted smile formed on her face as she said the words.

"My sisters must already be aware that I have chosen a hero, but they don't know what he looks like." A look of contempt crossed her face and then she continued. "If they did, they would all wag their tails like little whores in order to seduce my beloved hero." Then she began to mutter hysterically to herself. "Edwin is MINE and only MINE, no one can take him away from me!?!" After her words the door to the throne room slowly closed and one by one the torches on the white pillars went out. As the throne room was plunged into darkness, the only source of light in the room was the goddess's purple eyes, shining with madness.
