1 Intro: Goodbye Lagoon Boarding School

"Quiocho!"

A dark hazy image of Instructor Agnes rushing into the dormitory appears. Oddly, she's wearing her white clerical uniform. Our graduation ceremony was only hours earlier all the graduates had already been picked up.

Mustering what energy I had I yawned out "Is there a problem Miss Agnes?" attempting to lift myself out of bed.

Throwing a large sack at me "They..".

Time froze, they, were not my parents but Heredad Protective Services and everything inside me dropped and I was ripped back into times current " They are here, get your clothes packed, we don't have much time." she hurriedly started tossing trinkets and papers into another sack.

We scrambled to toss everything we could into my two rucksacks, another instructor calling out to us to inform us the HPS had arrived for me.

Miss Agnes yelled that we would be out shortly and pulled me close. "I am sorry my child, I have done everything I could to keep you here but your parents haven't picked you up in years and HPS only let me buy you time as an enrolled student. Take this sack, inside it's the last gift I could give you, don't let the eyes see it. Consider it your inheritance from me." She pulled me into her arms and gave me the tightest hug id ever received.

"Ma'am we are here to take Qiocho back to their residence." Two men in black windbreakers dripping water onto the hardwood floor were waiting at the door. Miss Agnes would always yell at me for dripping water all over the floors, yet today she only stood up and pleaded to at least let her explain what my situation would be leaving Lagoon Boarding School.

One inspector talked scolded Miss Agnes, the other walked up to me and grabbed me by the hand. "Let's go Qioxo, we'll be taking you back home." The Agent pulled me towards the exit, while I dragged my two rucksacks, and it's when it started to click. This was the last time I would be at the dormitories, I would no longer be surrounded by classmates and children, and I would not be returning to my home for the past 10 years. Miss Agnes was no longer going to be my philosophy instructor, she wouldn't yell at me for staying up late, sending me to detention for not completing my assignments, and that she had just hugged me for the last time.

Before I knew it we were outside in the rain walking toward a white sedan with the HPS logo. "Where are we headed to this time James?" The voice man that pulled me into the car asked. As they both entered the SUV the other voice responded after flipping through some papers. "Zona Dos, it seems the parents sold themselves out to give this kid a chance."

"They should have known any life in Zona Dos isn't worth enough to drag someone out of it." The first voice responded.

I can't even remember the face of my parents, but I rage began to fester, clenching my fists all I could do was bury my face into the rucksacks and sob. Miss Agnes was no longer here to help me, I don't know where my parents are, who they are let alone where "home" is. As to drown out my sobs the inspectors turned on the radio leaving me to my sorrows.
