With these abilities, he promises to make the shop the best in the world and live the lifestyle of his dream. In his endeavor to promote his products to the world and earn extra income, he will unexpectedly have encounters with heroes, kings, elder dragons, devil lords, demigods, and many more, some become trusted friends, some bitter enemies, and one of them is the love of his life. This is the story of Alfraed Logick's busy life. ------- I am a non-believer in a perfect main character able to do anything and everything flawlessly from the beginning. In early chapters, the titular character made mistakes, foolish mistakes even, and did not always know what to do and ended up with inefficient decisions like what happened in chapter 12. Basically, a human. Through all those errors, he learned and grew, becoming more mature as a person, and businessman. Previously, I used to release 8 to 10 chapters per month. However, since I was appointed as a Vice President in February 2023 the amount of new releases dropped to around 3 to 4 chapters in a month. But, with the higher workload and responsibility, even that quota was hard to be met. I burnt out and it affected both my main job and each chapter's quality. Taking everything into consideration, I think the right amount for me right now is 2 new chapters per month. Thank you for your understanding.

Irresistable yet impossible order (2)

When the medic and Vanessa were at a loss on what action should be taken next to save her, Alfraed approached the dark elf...

"...I know its hard, but, breath normally as best as you can. Then, drink this in one go. Please..." instructed Alfraed with encouraging expression.

The medics was about to move him, an unauthorized personnel, away. But, Vanessa stopped them. It was clear, they did not have the ability to save her, if this person was able to save her, the she wanted him to save her. Vanessa would take responsibility for anything that might happen.

The dark elf, reluctantly, followed instruction specified by a stranger, and drank what was given to her by him when she could breath better. She was taken by surprise, the swallowed liquid quickly proved its worth, spreading inside to every corner of her body, forcefully boosting her mana regeneration, and covering her dry magic circuit with the desired amount of magical power. At the end, her condition normalize.

Alfraed told the dumbfounded Vanessa and the medics to take the dark elf to an infirmary, and promptly moving on to the other gold-ranked.

The situation was a bit complicated in this side. The dent made his armor unable to be released, obstructing the medics' effort to help him.

A robust dwarf and a toned daemon adventurers were helping to remove the fastened armor together. Yet, even with their help, it would not budge an inch.

"Excuse me, may I?"

""...…..""

The two adventurers ignored his requests. Actually, they did not know what to respond after a man smaller than themselves, not even an adventurer, would like to try opening it solo. But, they finally stepped aside after Vanessa asked them to. Though, in their opinion, Alfraed would not be able to do anything and it was simply a waste of time.

"Here I go..."

Alfraed grasped the armor tightly, and an eerie, creaking sound of a metal being forcefully altered could be heard. The next moment, he pushed the rear armor with his left hand and, displaying a sudden burst of unnatural strength, he pulled the front armor with his right, tearing it apart like a paper.

That unreal sound echoed throughout the vicinity, surprising anyone who heard it.

He did this several times until the last part of the armor were successfully extracted, finally freeing the man.

"Medics, clean his wounds"

"...….."

"Hurry!!"

After the wounds were sanitized, he made him drink his self-made potion, slowly, and the remaining potion was splashed on his wounds, causing him groaning in agony.

"What did you…?!" the medics were protesting, but Alfraed adamantly gave them a signal to stay put and lower their voice.

The gold-ranked was clearly in pain, but only for a short moment. Later on, his open wounds were closing at an impressive rate, even his battered left arm was returning to its original shape. His body was amended, and the person was now breathing without any difficulty. Then, Alfraed told the medics to carry him to a bed.

"Magic and potion are unable to free the body from accumulated fatigue. The only thing that can is to get a good sleep, and he needs lots of it"

For a while, every one was silent. Afterward, deafening cheers erupted throughout the building, and all adventurers swarmed Alfraed, inquiring about the potions, they totally forgot about how he was able to break the armor bare-handed.

"Those were Greater Grade Potions" answered Alfraed, and the adventurers, unreservedly forced him to sell those potions to them. Alfraed was happy they witnessed his potions' efficacy. On the nick of time, before he could answer, Vanessa separated Alfraed from the adventurers, and strongly announced…

"This man, Alfraed Logick, is our new supplier who will provide Greater Grade potions to the Association! So, for further information, please come to me!"

Vanessa saw a business opportunity and acted upon it. The Association would not get any share of profit if the adventurers directly bought the potions from Alfraed. By acknowledging him as supplier, he would have to sell his products in their general store, and the adventurers would buy from the store instead.

Fortunately, her supervisor agreed with her action, and let Vanessa to handle this matter.

-------

"I believe each potion is 100,000 Rune?"

"According to market price, then, yes"

"Well then, let me tell you directly, the Association wishes to buy these Greater Grade Potions in bulk. So, we demand special price. 80,000 Rune for each potion"

Alfraed reflexively did a calculation in his head. He procured and made the potions himself. So, the cost of making them were low, and with 80,000 Rune per bottle, he already gained considerable amount of profit.

"Deal. I have 50 bottles for each potion. I can deliver it right away" informed Alfraed.

"Not enough!"

"Excuse me?"

However, Vanessa's respond was outside his expectation.

"We want 300 bottles, 150 bottles for each potion, and we want it ready in a week. Can you, or can you not do it?"

Despite his age, Alfraed was a level-headed and sensible person. He knew what he could and could not do. The order given to him would give 24,000,000 worth of sales. Tempting, unfortunately, was beyond his current capacity to fulfill, and taking an order he could not complete would only damage his reputation in the future. Thus, the right thing to do was to negotiate the amount.

"…Yes…?"

Nevertheless, his mouth betrayed his intention.

"… I see, then, let me explain further" although surprised at first, Vanessa accepted his reply, and informed in details about terms and conditions related to this transaction to ensure Alfraed understood.

"So, have anything you want to add?" asked Vanessa.

Alfraed made up his mind to tell Vanessa about his miscalculation. This might revealed his immaturity, but was better than betraying her trust later on. Furthermore, he was still new at this. So, making a mistake should be expected.

"…No…?"

'Noooooooooooo!!'

Once again, his mouth betrayed him, and he dreadfully screamed in his heart.

"Alright, I'll be expecting the goods in a week" said Vanessa cheerfully while leaving the shop.

It seemed the young Alfraed had just now learnt about the allure of money and hopelessly unable to resist it, leaving him speechless on what to do to fulfill that official order. Meanwhile the twins came up to him asking whether they had done the writings correctly.

At that time, Alfraed just realized that he even forgot to ask for down payment...
