"Where is your master now?" enquired Mikaela.

"...Even I don't know the whereabouts of my master, but I'm sure my master can locate me easily any other day..."

Alfraed explained that his master often went away for work, the last time they saw each other was before he left to open Herbs & Lotions in Anspia. And, the fact that his master could arrive in front of his doorstep anytime as if nothing happened was both romantic and threatening for him.
