"hello boy, am commander Gordon but you can call me Gordon" the man said in a soft baritone, "thanks for saving me commander, am Lucien" "don't worry about that kid, it's our duty to protect the mass no matter the cost" replied Gordon.

"lies!, bunch of dirty lies!!"Lucien gritted his teeth, "please allow me to call my vice into the conversation?" gorden added And Lucien nodded, gorden clapped a little and a white haired man entered the ward, the man had white eyes and a slightly pale flawless skin, his handsomeness was both captivating and alarming, he kept on staring at Lucien even as he sat down. "am ling, nice to meet you " he introduced and returned his gaze to the general, "he has asian features" Lucien thought and widened his eyes a bit.

"alright, let's start" gorden announced and cleared his throat "why did you enter the portal as a porter when you could have gone as an adventurer?" gorden asked "tsk, starting with an easier question and slowly get to the hard ones when I feel a bit familiar"Lucien tried to conceal his smirk "I knew l couldn't face E grade mystics without supports, so i decided to join a party" Lucien calmly replied

Lucien calmly narrated to the duo everything that happened inside the portal skipping only the stone incident. "from the way you explained it, the werewolf seems to chase you because of something, did you perhaps took something from it?" gorden asked"no I didn't" Lucien replied instantly albeit calmly, " how can I keep my heart beat this steady?" Lucien thought " am I still human " a wild thought came upon him but he immediately shook his head and cleared it away.

gorden look at ling calmly " he speaks the truth" said ling " fuck!, is he a light core holder?, how could he detect whether I lied?" Lucien thought " a slight increase in heart beat when gorden asked him if he took something, did he perhaps stole from the werewolf?" ling thought.

Gordon cleared his throat and stood up while ling followed suit, " Mr vurcas, the doctor said that you can go home anytime, feel free to join section H military and take this credit card,it has a total of hundred thousand dollars in it. it's the reward for giving us information on a surprise silver portal" gorden said and tossed him a gold colored card before he left with ling .

Lucien whom work as a part time adventurer after school haven't had such a huge amount of so he was extremely touched.

The world decided to use dollar as the only currency after the calamity. Lucien wore his jacket and put on it's hoodie before he left his ward and the hospital, the thick smell of drugs and blood were ricking him off.
