chapter 29: Going on A Date[II]

Guanyin, Shiro actually liked, (she was a Dere Dere), she was nice and sweet, and opened up with her feelings for him, plus, she made him feel better about himself, and made him feel special, which in turn really boosted his self-esteem and drove him to do better, so naturally he liked being around her, but having self-esteem and asking a girl out are 2 very different things, so despite the two of them being close, they were still at a stalemate, because she felt like she couldn't ask him out because he wouldn't say no, even if he wants to date her, he would never ask a goddess on a date, he had no such courage, which made it super sad and frustrating to the other Chinese deities that were rooting for her, especially Xiwangmu, who saw her as a daughter and wanted her to be with someone that made her happy, and Shiro did just that.

Then there was Inari, who was Hermes (honest) bet for the first one to ask Shiro out, and she was.

"Thyra m-my w-wife, and and I uh" Shiro was sweating.

"And you what? Come on be honest with me, I know you like me and the others, especially Guanyin" Inari said.

"I…uh…um, how do you know that?" Shiro asked nervous.

"Shiro, everybody knows about your crush on Guanyin, but we're deities, we can't just ask you out, normally" She then straddled him while he was on the floor, and came close to his face.

"But I'm sick of waiting" she smiled, and she kissed him on the lips, 'You're so dense, I'm surprised you don't generate your own gravity" she laughed.

Shiro's face went bright red and he was sent into a steaming mess, if he was honest, he expected this sooner, he had chickened out of this long enough and now they were sad, it hurt him, but it probably hurt them more, especially considering he and Thyra had become more comfortable around each other.

"Ok, sure" he whispered, "What?" she leaned in to listen and he kissed her back very deep, filled with passion, Inari was taken back in surprise.

"Let's go on a date" he smiled.

She was blushing before a grin formed on her face, "Now" she simply said.

"What?!, right now?" he asked nervously surprised, "Uh, as in today now?" he asked again, she leaned in towards him "Yes" she smiled.

"Finally," a voice said from behind them, and they looked to see it was Bastet.

"I was wondering if we'd have to strip you for you to get the message" She hugged him from behind, her boobs pressing into his back, and she breathed on his ear.

"So, when are 'we' going on a date?" she said in a sultry tune, Shiro was starting to glow red.

"Now hold up one minute hoe" Freyr had entered the room.

"Oh, look who it is, miss plastic is here" Bastet countered.

"You two, enough" Sothis said as she and Guanyin entered.

"Lady Sothis, lady Guanyin? What are you two doing here?" he asked surprised, they were probably the most mature of the bunch.

"I heard you ask Inari on a date" Sothis spoke curtly, and Shiro flinched.

Suddenly, Inari had an idea "Oh, I know, why don't we all go on a date with Shiro" she suggested.

"HUH?!!" they all yelled, "There's a beach by a lake on the ground and since today is Shiro's day off, we can all relax at the beach," she said excitedly as she relayed the idea.

"That doesn't sound bad," Sothis said.

"I'm down for it" Bastet smiled.

"You know, a day at the beach is pretty neat, we could all do that, you know, if you're all interested," Shiro said.

"If you're up for it, then so am I," Guanyin said.

"Yay!" Inari cheered.

"Sure, why not" Freyr agreed, 'Plus, this will be perfect for me to show off to Shiro' she thought, but unbeknownst to her was the same thought on all the other goddess's minds.
