As the night of Imperial showed its splendor with its shimmering lights, Cassandra decided to go on with the flow as Julian led her up to the rooftop.

While she's wondering about what he's up to, Julian beckoned her closer and curled his long hand into the curving span above her hips, fitting the slender length of his fingers around her waist until they almost touched her spine.

Cassandra shuddered at the intimacy but said nothing as she rolled her eyes with a tight smile, feeling his heat seared the side of her body, seeping through her dress to her sensitive skin.

Situated on top of Queendine was a rooftop bar. Perched in the eastern Imperial overlooking the megapolitan city, this place had a picture-perfect vista of the glittering city below and the greenery landscape behind.
