"Professor is right! Ruby is the one who is lying."

The girl said and waited for a response.

"But, who are you? How do you know that?"

Someone asked her. The group call became a little noisy due to that. However, when she declared that, everyone went silent again.

"I also went with her this morning. At that time, she asked us to leave. So we left. But I had a bad feeling, so I left my phone in the professor's cabin with the recorder on. So I heard everything. I shared the audio in the chat. You can help the professor by using it." 

She left the call after telling them that. Maybe she was scared to drag along with Ruby.

When the audio played, the students fell silent because of not only one thing but also because of everything.

Oliver's marriage, Ruby's confession, her behaviour and they had questions about a lot of things. But first of all, they had to save the professor.

After listening to both sides, the council rejected Oliver's excuses and took the side of Ruby because her mother was someone who supported the campus financially. If they make her angry, the campus would lose a valuable person. But losing a professor was not that serious. So the council took side of Ruby.

Seeing where the council was aiming, Oliver knew he was in trouble. He felt even weaker. He felt his head was feeling heavy. But he endured it because he didn't want to lose his job. If he loses his job, he won't be able to pay off the debt by himself. And also he loved this job since the very first day he started.

He had no choice other than to ask for a chance since he was already lost. But he didn't know his students were trying so hard to help him.

They shared the audio in the forum and then sent it to the headmaster's email. When the headmaster played it secretly, he knew Ruby was wrong. But he silently deleted it and behaved as if nothing happened.

The students were confused seeing he didn't mention the audio yet. So they had a bad feeling and they already guessed why the headmaster was trying to frame Oliver and help Ruby.

They were pissed off and decided to take action. But when they were about to leave the class, another voice sounded in the council room.

"Sir, Mr. John has arrived to meet someone."

The headmaster left the council room and almost ran to see the guest.

Oliver knew that the so-called Mr. John was his father-in-law. But he didn't have any special idea about what made him visit the campus. However, his mind was in nowhere and he just wanted to leave there soon. He wished that only someone could help him.

While the headmaster was away, Ruby looked at Oliver and found out that his condition was not good. His face looked pale and his hands were trembling slightly. She saw that. She felt like she had won. So she relaxed for a moment.

"We should give him a punishment that he can't forget."

Ruby's brother said while looking at Oliver.

"The slap should have made him feel ashamed. Bastard! How dare you touch my daughter!"

When her mom said that the students were angry and guilty at the same time. The slap! What was that for? For refusing her? For letting her hug him? They felt bad for their professor.

They wanted to hit Ruby so badly. Without knowing the outside was a storm, Ruby and her family behaved proudly. Yeah, they were enjoying the silence before the storm.

Then suddenly the door opening sound could be heard. The students knew the headmaster had come back. But this time he was not alone. John also had come with him.

When the headmaster left to meet John, he saw him and greeted him with so much respect because was the main sponsor for their everything. John helped the campus financially and he was the top one since he was the only one who donated an unbelievable amount at once.

"Sir, Why are you here suddenly?"

The headmaster asked.

"I wonder if Oliver is still here?"

When he asked for Oliver, the headmaster was stunned.

"Yes, that one is in the council room. He had harassed a girl and currently, we are making a decision."

He didn't know Oliver was the 'great' son-in-law of this proud businessman. He told everything thinking nothing was special.

"Can I join there?"

When he asked, the headmaster couldn't refuse and led the way for him, thinking about why he wanted to join them. But the next moment, he thought that he must have come here to support Ruby since she was someone from their first-class families.

On the way, the headmaster talked well about Ruby's side while talking badly about Oliver. 

John also listened silently and followed him.

That's how John appeared there.

When the people in the council room saw John, the great businessman, they stood up and showed their respect.

Oliver saw him but kept silent thinking he would be angry and wouldn't believe him. But John trusted him and treasured him so much.

The students were waiting for a response from someone in the room, but none of them talked.

Then suddenly a worried voice was exposed to the air.

"Why is your face so pale? Are you not feeling well? What's with you?"

When John moved to Oliver's side, the headmaster disturbed him.

"Leave him be. He should suffer more for hurting a little girl!"

When he said that Oliver looked down feeling guilty. He felt sorry about making him hear those things about him. 

"Shut up!"

John's rude appearance made everyone silent. The great pressure from his tone, made the students shocked.

"How dare you treat him like that? If only I didn't come here, I am afraid of what would have happened here. Is this how your council works? This is fucking trash!"

His scolding made the headmaster shocked. He didn't expect him to shout at them. They had no guts to talk against him because it was almost like the campus ran from his money.

"No sir, he harassed a girl. So we should punish him. We can't let him go."

The headmaster patiently explained. All the people were confused thinking about why John was talking to Oliver.

"Do you have evidence?"

He asked, lowering his tone.

"The girl said all."

"I asked if you have evidence?"

"No sir"

"Did he accept that he harassed her?"

"The one who harassed will never admit that."

"Answer what I asked for"

"No sir, he told something else."

"Then what did you do?"

" We decided to suspend him."

"For what?"

"For harassing his student."

"Without any evidence how could you do it?"

" That-"

Seeing the headmaster left speechless, after such a conversation, the student was kinda happy.

They felt that someone was there to talk about the right thing.

"You fucking dare to accuse him for such a thing even without any evidence. What if he is not wrong? Did her face make you trust her and punish him?"

John was furious. He was so angry that he wanted to flat the whole campus. The students laughed secretly imagining their headmaster's expression.

Oliver, who was watching the scene, felt guilty for bringing dad into this matter. And seeing he was angry, Oliver felt even more sorry. 

"You! Come here."

John pointed at Oliver and called him. Oliver obediently went to him. But he didn't expect that he would hold his chin and check the injury caused by the slap. His cheek was especially red. His face was pale. His body was trembling.

"You are having a fever!"

John worriedly said and turned to the headmaster angrily.

Seeing he was angry again, Oliver wanted to stop him.

"It's okay, I am fine."

When Oliver said that John looked at him and then his expression changed.

"He told me you are stubborn. Now I see what he meant. If you are sick, you should rest!"

John said. Oliver didn't dare to look at him. He was ordered to sit back by John. So he went back and sat down.

During this period, the students couldn't wait and simply watch their professor getting blamed. And seeing John was supporting their professor they gathered together and decided to stand with John.

They decided to help the professor even if they would be punished!
