While they were at the table, Daniel's mom, Rose talked with Amelia. But John didn't bother to talk with her. Both John and Rose knew Amelia was the homeroom teacher of Ava. Anyway, for some reason, John didn't like her that much. Maybe it was because she was too flashy. Even though Rose loved to talk with her seeing she was so kind and polite.

"Oh! Only Oliver could make Daniel come.", John said with a laugh, but that was only for Oliver. Then his face changed instantly and gave a scary look to Daniel.

"I am sorry for being late."

Daniel quickly apologised.

"Dad, Ms. Amelia is here."

Ava showed her to Daniel. Amelia stood up and said hi in an attractive way. Oliver looked at Daniel to see his reaction to such a beauty but realised that he was already looking at him.

Daniel wanted to know Oliver's reaction to such a beautiful girl. But Oliver also wanted to do the same. Seeing both Oliver and Daniel sharing glances at each other with confusing looks on their faces, Amelia felt like they were mocking her.

"Hi, it's been a long time since I saw you. You have become more gorgeous."

Daniel familiarly talked with Amelia. Since the school leave, they didn't get to see her. That's why he said a long time no see.

Amelia wanted to talk with him more and alone. But there was no way. John, who was already pissed off with Daniel, couldn't wait and see them anymore.

Seeing John running out of patience, Rose apologized to Amelia and asked for a leave.

"Daniel, we should go now. Ava must be hungry. We are very sorry for disturbing you two. But we should go now."

Thanks to Rose, they got to move to have dinner. When they arrived at the party, it was already nearly 5 pm. After spending so much time, it was already past 7 and Ava was so hungry.

The dinner was already prepared by Anderson. When they arrived to have dinner, some people were already having dinner.

Daniel and others sat around a table. When dinner was served, Ava couldn't help but to start eating soon. Watching her in a rush, John warned her, not to burn herself since the foods were hot.

But she ate while the food was burning hot. They were kinda shocked seeing how fast she ate even though the food was hot.

"May I bring you some ice cream?"

Seeing Ava had finished eating and rubbing her tummy which was bulging, Oliver asked her.

"Wow! Ice cream? I want to eat!"

She was excited when that words fell into her ears.

"You eat, I will bring her some."

Daniel said, putting down the spoon. He was eating at that moment, but Oliver was already done since he doesn't eat much.

"No, you continue eating. I am done, I will go with her".

But at that time, Ava was already holding Oliver's hand to get some ice cream.

"Okay then."

Daniel picked up his spoon and started to eat again, letting them go.

There were a lot of flavours there. That's why the guests had to get the ice cream by themselves as they wanted, unlike ordering for some.

Ava's eyes lit up and she couldn't choose one flavour to eat. Seeing her struggling to choose a flavour Oliver had an idea.

"I will get each spoon from your favourite flavours."

Oliver had a good understanding of her preferences. So he knew what her favourites were.

"Okay."

"Sit there for a moment. I will bring them."

Oliver said and watched Ava until she sat down at an empty table near him.

Then Oliver started to scoop ice cream from each flavour. When he was getting ice cream for Ava, someone came and hugged Oliver from behind. He thought it must be Daniel and pushed him away.

"What are you doing? Behave yourself!"

Oliver said gently and turned around to see why he was silent.

Oliver was stunned and kept looking at the unfamiliar face in front of him. That was not Daniel.

"Who are you?"

Oliver couldn't believe he did treat a stranger like Daniel even after being hugged by him.

"Oh! Did your tone suddenly change? Weren't you so gentle before?"

The man didn't seem to care about any other things. He came closer to Oliver and then suddenly got the plate of ice cream.

Oliver didn't talk. He kept looking at the man eating the whole ice cream he collected for Ava in front of him. He licked his spoon while looking at Oliver's lips.

Oliver felt so disgusted. He knew this man was aiming for something else. But he didn't seem like a pervert though. Well dressed and his appearance was handsome indeed. But that gaze made Oliver get away from him. But he couldn't go empty-handed.

So he silently picked another plate and collected ice cream from the same flavours he got before. This time before the man grabbed the plate, Oliver avoided him and gave him a cold look.

"Don't be so harsh." He chuckled and looked at Oliver's back which was walking away from him.

Instead of following him, he stood still there since he had a feeling that he would come back there. Oliver had to come there again because Ava wanted to try other flavours too. Oliver didn't want to go. But for Ava, he made up his mind and went back with the empty plate.

"Hey, You love ice cream. I know you will come back. Come and have fun with me. I will buy you an ice cream factory."

Oliver, who heard everything, ignored him and kept filling the plate with leftover flavours. Meanwhile, Daniel was done eating and waiting for Ava and Oliver to come. At that time, he met one of his old friends and talked with him. So he couldn't pay attention to Oliver or Ava.

And Ava who was waiting for Oliver, saw that someone kept talking with Oliver. But seeing Oliver didn't care about him, Ava thought it was okay. But when she saw him grabbing Oliver's hand and Oliver pushed him away but he kept trying to touch Oliver, she knew a person like that must be a pervert.

She ran to Daniel without waiting for a moment.

"Dad, someone is harassing dad."

She didn't know the correct word to describe the scene. So she used the word harass.

Hearing that, Daniel looked at Ava in confusion but looked for Oliver at the same time.

When he captured the image of Oliver and another person who was so close to him, Daniel rushed there. Ava also followed him.

"What do you say? Do you like it? I can give you the money if you want. Come with me, okay?"

The person kept trying to have a skinship with Oliver, but he kept avoiding him calmly and silently.

"He doesn't need your fucking money. How dare you touch my man?"

Daniel was furious when he heard what that guy was telling to Oliver. He regretted letting Ava follow him. If not Daniel's speaking language would have been more wild.

However, Ava who was intelligent, not such a fool to not understand what that stranger was asking for. She was also angry at that guy. She wanted his dad to beat the shit out of that guy!

"D-Daniel?"

The person seemed to recognize him and slowly turned to run away. But Daniel had no intention of letting him go so easily. At the same time, Oliver didn't want Daniel to cause a scene there. So he tried to calm him down. But only got a furious glare by Daniel. Oliver took a step back feeling guilty for not calling Daniel early.

"I didn't know he was your lover. I am sorry."

The person kept mumbling and it was clear he was scared.

"You are sorry? "

Daniel was a little scary, but Ava felt that his dad was super cool. His dad was fighting for his lover.

'It's cooler than watching dramas!'

She watched the scene with great interest.
