Pent up Anger

"I don't want to go," Lana protested as she sat before a canvas.

"We don't really have a choice, Lana," Prism told her. "Director said we should pay her a visit so we should go,"

"I'm not going," Lana said.

"Scarlett is already over there and we should have left 30 minutes ago," Prism said.

"I said I'm not going!" Lana yelled at Prism.

"You can deal with an angry Director then," Prism said. "If you don't want to go so bad then you can suffer the consequences, you know how she can get. Let's go, Silas,"

Prism and Silas left the bunker and made their way to the estate, leaving Lana behind.

"You should force her to do things," Silas said.

"I don't want to but we have to listen to Director," Prism said. "She's been around for a while so she's been through something like this before,"

"Lana is stubborn, she hasn't yet accepted the reality of the situation," Silas explained.

"Must be all that painting," Prism said sighing.

"She takes pride in her paintings," Silas said.

"I'm not taking that away from her, I just wish that she'd pull her head out of the canvas once in a while," Prism said.

"She'll come around eventually," Silas said.

"I hope so," Prism said with a sigh.

"Don't push yourself, Harmony you can't always get people to do what you want,"

"I know that," Prism said. "I just want her to take a look at the world around her more. I know it's not the best case but I want her to enjoy what she has now,"

"She has painting,"

"You know that's not what I meant," Prism said with her hands on her hips as Silas knocked on the door.

"It's about time you guys got here," Scarlett said as the door flew open. "Where's Lana?"

"She didn't want to come," Silas explained.

"Why not?" Scarlett asked.

"You know why, Scarlett," Prism said. "Lana hasn't been quiet about how she feels when it comes to the monarchs," she said as she walked inside.

"She's still holding that grudge?" Scarlett asked.

"Of course," Silas said. "Imagine you were in a competition you spent most of your life preparing for but then someone beats you at the competition with almost no preparation," he said as he walked into the estate and closed the door.

"What?!" Scarlett said as her body quickly engulfed in flames.

"Don't rile her up, Silas," Prism said. "Calm down Scarlett, this competition doesn't exist,"

"O-oh r-right," Scarlett said as she calmed the flames around her body.

"Who's here with you?" Prism asked Scarlett.

"Well Kat is always here but Lucas is also hanging around," Scarlett said as she caught but with Prism. "Lucas also said that the purifiers were acting up too so he might ask you to check them out,"

"Wait what?" Prism said as she stopped walking. Kat and Lucas entered the room the 3 were in. "What's up with the purifiers?" she asked Lucas.

"Hi Prism, how are you?" Lucas asked.

"We can get to the pleasantries later, what's wrong with the purifiers?" she asked again.

"They seem to be malfunctioning, they shut off and the don't power back on for a couple of hours and I found some that have been off for days,"

"Why haven't you told Director about this?" Prism asked.

"I didn't know about it till yesterday,"

"I have to go fix them,"

"Remember what I told you," Silas said.

"But-"

"I can fix them, you stay here,"

But I-"

"Harmony, you have something to do here," Silas said. "I will fix the purifiers,"

"Fine," Prism said as she gave in. "But call me if anything goes wrong," Silas nodded and left the room.

"What was that about?" Lucas whispered to Scarlett.

"I'll tell you later," Scarlett said whispering back. She then approached Prism. "Hey don't worry too much about it, you could always rely on us every once in a while you know,"

"Yeah I guess," Prism said looking in the direction Silas went.

"Hey guys," Dawn said as she entered the room. "Where's Silas and Lana?"

"Silas just left her had to check on something and Lana-" Scarlet said.

"Couldn't make it today," Prism jumped in.

"Oh well, I'm glad you're here Prism," Dawn with an awkward smile. Scarlett nudged Prism.

"I'm glad to be here I guess,"

"Want me to show you around?" Dawn asked.

"Dawn, they're actually really acquainted with the place," Kat said.

"Yeah we're here almost all the time," Scarlett said.

"Really then how come I've never seen you guys over before?" Dawn asked.

"We stopped making ourselves known after you were chosen," Scarlett said.

"Huh?" Dawn asked.

"She means we don't come over out of respect for Lana," Prism said.

"Let's not get into that right now," Lucas said.

"Maybe we should, I mean we kind of owe her an apology," Kat said.

"I'd say that you owe her more than that considering the circumstances we're in now," Prism said.

"Yeah!" Scarlett said.

"What are you guys talking about?" Dawn asked.

"We're talking about something that happened before you stepped into the picture," Scarlett explained. "It has to do with Lana and why she doesn't want to be around you or anything to do with the monarchy,"

"What happened?" Dawn asked.

"It's not important," Lucas said.

"So our sister isn't important to you?" Scarlett said. "I hope you know because of you she barely looks up from a canvas now,"

"That isn't my fault, if she wants to paint for the rest of her life that's fine,"

"What?!" Scarlett said.

"Calm down or you'll burn the entire estate to the ground," Prism said calmly.

"How can you be so calm about this?" Scarlett asked Prism.

"He made it clear he doesn't care about Lana in the slightest," Prism said. "He never wanted Lana to be in that position and he got what he wanted. It was underhanded and conniving but what more can we do?"

"You looked into Destiny's old looking glass, didn't you?" Kat asked Prism.

Prism didn't say anything, she just gave Kat and Lucas a cold look.

"Harmony?" Scarlett called her.

"What are you guys talking about?" Dawn asked again. Prism walked out of the room.

"Prism?!" Scarlett called her.

"Scarlett, what happened?" Dawn desperately asked her.

"I don't know but she saw something," Scarlett said. "I'm going to go find out," Scarlett said as she ran after Prism.

Dawn looked at Kat and Lucas.

"What did you guys do?" she asked them. Kat looked at the ground not saying anything and Lucas just looked away. Dawn ran after Scarlett.

"Dawn, wait!" Kat called out but Dawn didn't even look back.
