Jessa sat as James began explaining the atrocities of the pack she formerly belonged to. She felt the unease of the room about joining. There were even one Alpha skeptical about the abuse given to the siblings and others. The outrage in Jessa sprang up and she stood abruptly gaining everyone's attention.

She addressed him directly in front of the room. She shorn her cardigan and raised her tank top. The room gasped at the scars upon her back. Sabrina rushed forward cradling Jessa to her chest.

"Oh you poor baby. What have they done to you? Who could be so cruel?" she hugged Jessa her own tears flowing freely into Jessa's hair.

"Do you doubt our words now Kingsly? Do you still sit there haughty and righteous hiding your own cowardice to take on a pack bigger than your own by three times?" Drayven growled out.

"I doubt nothing, we will join you." He said after a moment of conversation with his Luna and Beta.

"Us too" said Armon

"And we" said Leo

"You know you have us" said David.

In all, every pack there joined up. The mission was laid out detailing how and when. In a weeks' time they'd meet again to finalize things. One week after, they'd wage their attack. It was going forward. The hands of time couldn't be stopped.

Jessa was in her own private room at her little vanity brushing her hair when a knock sounded at the door. She called softly for the person to enter.

His hat in his massive hands Lloyd stepped into the much too feminine room. He felt so out of place, so big and clumsy amongst such small delicate feminine things.

"Future Luna, please, I can sense your feelings. I can sense your thoughts. Since the meeting earlier you have been all but screaming them. As your Gamma I can feel you second best to your mate himself. I don't mean to pry, really I don't…" he trailed off playing with the brim of his hat. "But, you're WRONG. You ARE worth it Jessa. James has waited a long time for you. He wants to make sure that that disgrace of a pack never gets a chance to hurt anyone else. It goes deeper than just you…." He rambled.

She rose and crossed the room. She placed her hand on his arm. He calmed at once. He looked up at her and suddenly laughed. He laughed so deep his enormous frame shook and she had to sit him on the chaise before he fell out.

"Oh imagine! The Luna just calmed the Gamma! What a sight!" he guffawed out. With that she began chuckling too.

"I imagine it is quite a funny sight." She agreed. "But can I ask you something Lloyd?" she said suddenly sobering up.

"Of course, my Luna."

"Do you know of any magical type folks Lloyd? I have these feelings. I don't know how to explain it, but I can feel it. Like there's something there shimmering under the surface of my skin, like I can make things happen. Earlier I hoped the packs would join, I willed it to happen, I don't know how but I just knew if I bared my back to them they'd understand and change their stances."

"That would be Drayven's area of expertise Luna, he consorts with a few witches."

"Can you send him my way when you see him?"

"Sure. Luna you need to rest now. Your energy is low. Let go of it for now and rest." He told her using his Gamma's charm to lull her, before she knew it she was tucked in and drifting off into sleep.

James came in to find his mate sleeping peacefully and his Gamma lulling in the too small chair by her bed. He raised his eyebrow as Lloyd came back to full consciousness.

"Alpha," he bowed.

"Gamma" James said in jest of the formality

"Ah, Jessa's had some fitful sleep, she talks in her sleep you know, I don't know who Heath is but she seems to be scared of him. And someone named Hanny?"

"Her former mate, and the omega instructor at her previous pack. She tortured Jess on a daily basis. I suspect just for fun. Heath is my absolute second target when we attack. Kelly is my first. I don't want to hurt Mark as he's just a weakling, but if he stands in my way so help me, I'll gut him. I want her blood, I want her head on a pike. She will know pain and torture before I am done with her. She will know and suffer all she's done to my mate."

Jessa having awoke yawned and said drowsily "Nope, that bitch is mine."

James argued her for three hours that she wasn't going to be there and in the end when Luna Mae and Drayven and everyone else sided with her, gave in and caved to her wishes. He mentally made a note to stick three of his best warriors on her flank.

The next day a letter arrived via the royal courier of the Lycan Queen. She was preparing a visit in just over three weeks time. He read it suspicious that they were just at his mate's former pack days ago and are now headed to his. He felt something was going on. Trouble was being brewed.

Jessa, Amelia, Anna and Roz's daughter Vivian all converged on his office, they were animated in female chatter and excitement. Sam hid in the bathroom and left James to the onslaught of female noises.

Anna held her hand out for one of the pack credit cards announcing they were going shopping at BOTH malls and would likely put a large dent in the shiny plastic's account. She looked gleeful at the doomed expression on James's face.

"I won't have my sister and best friend looking like castaways any longer. They will have proper wardrobes!" She declared

After the girls finally agreed to let five of his best guards accompany them they were on their way. Piling back into the limousine.

James called his cowardly Beta back into the room and showed him the letter. He called his mother in and Drayven. He knew there was something going on. He didn't believe in coincidences.

He called on the council and for once he was glad Jessa wasn't around. He didn't want her to worry so much about it. Whatever came would come. He had postponed the ball until after the attack. It seemed much more a better idea to do it for a celebration and Luna ceremony instead. So they could all party in honor of wiping that worthless pack off the map. It will coincide with the royal visitors now. Just as well. 'Throw three parties at once' he thought to himself. He would commission to have Jessa a more splendid dress made. One that would rival the Queen herself.
