Betrayal and Fired

Amelia stood there, frozen in shock. 'How could you do this to me?! I thought we were best friends!'she cried. 'Well sorry, I can't be friends with such an ugly and poor girl!'Jasmine said. Jasmine had been best friends with Amelia since they were in diapers. But this was unexpected. Amelia had caught her boyfriend, James kissing Jasmine. 'Your boyfriend also doesn't love you because you are so ugly and so poor. Of course he would choose me over you! You can't even behave properly like a woman. I bet your dead mother would be disappointed. After that, Jasmine left Amelia alone with nothing else to hold except her pillow. She doesn't have anything now, not even a soft bed for her to cry on, because she doesn't have enough money to buy a comfortable bed.

Poor Amelia, she's gotten robbed, betrayed, and now left. However, she still remembers her deceased mother's last words.

'No matter how cruel the world may be, stay positive, courageous and kind, little angel' her mother breathed. 'No, mother.. please stay with me, don't leave!' little Amelia cried. Amelia brushed that memory away and washed her face, ready to go to work once again. She is going to be late again and her salary is probably going to be cut off.

'How many times have I told you, Amelia?! Don't be late again or I will fire you!' Miss Jane screamed. 'I am sorry miss, today-' then Miss Jane cut her off, 'I don't care! You are officially fired!'. 'But Miss-','You.Are.Fired!'. Poor Amelia was forced to pack her things up and leave Jane&Co Dress Factory.

'Great, Amelia, now you have been fired! What a lovely day!' Amelia ranted.

She wanted to kill herself so badly, but she couldn't stop thinking about what her mother said to her. The world had shunned her, betrayed her, left her behind and took everything away from her, but yet she stayed true to herself.

She felt like destroying and killing every person around her, but she knew that if she'd done that, her mother would be extremely disappointed in her. And because of that she held herself back. Amelia's personality is somewhat of a true angel's personality. She is nice to people who can't even rent an apartment, people who are most likely homeless, they always pray for Amelia. Almost every homeless person likes her. They have prayed for her, but it seems that this is just God's way of testing her, testing her loyalty. But it seems that it is too much for Amelia.

Amelia ran home, crying and sobbing, and when she arrived, she fell to her knees. 'What*sob*am I going to*sob* do now mother?!*more sobbing*'she cried. She may be broken, but what she doesn't know, is that her heart has a very strong shield, and that is her own soul.She went in her apartment and slept.'Please help me mother, I can't stand this anymore.I may have been able to stay strong, but I can't take it anymore!'.

And with that, she cried herself to sleep.
