The rays of sunlight penetrated through the thick embroidered drapes, reflecting in the four corners of the room. He came out of the bathroom, adjusting his shirt sleeves. He had been awake since 4:00am that morning probably because he felt uncomfortable with where he was and was too cautious so as not to oversleep.

He came out of the room after putting on his shoes and his suit jacket before leaving for the living room where he met Laine who seemed to be in a discussion with the other maids in the room.

“As soon as Ms Kirsi leaves with her guest, you know exactly what to do.” Her voice became more audible with every step he took towards her.

“Good morning Mr Ethan, how was the night?” she asked him, dismissing the maids with the wave of her hand.
