It was a miracle

"The same as yours," Dominick replied. "Go to the washroom and see for yourself, just once."

She went into the washroom attached to his cabin, leaving the door open. She examined herself from all angles but couldn't find anything wrong. She was about to leave when Dominick approached and made her turn around, pointing out the open strap.

"Oh! I'm sorry, I forgot," she quickly apologized. "I haven't worn a strapless dress in a long time, so I forgot to check."

She tried to tie it herself but couldn't reach it. Dominick helped her untie it and then tied it himself. He did it slowly, intentionally savoring the moment. Hyacinth couldn't help but blush as she realized he still cared for her. If he hadn't told her, she would have walked around the entire office like that. Once they were done, she walked out, feeling grateful for his concern. She completed her work with a renewed sense of confidence and dedication.

Dominick walked into his cabin while she was arranging the papers, and her hair was giving her trouble. He came up behind her and said, "Come on, we need to go and take the files with you." With his voice, she got startled, causing the papers to slip from her hand and float in the air before landing on the floor, scattering all over her cabin.

"Okay, sir, I'm coming," she replied, her voice filled with a trace of nervousness. She started picking up the papers one by one, and as she picked up one, she saw the name of a brand along with its tagline. The tagline read, "The one brand for crazy lovers..." She was shocked to read those words, as they always held a special place in her heart - 'crazy lover'. When she saw the brand's name, it was DH Accessories.

...

They were sitting in the car silently, neither willing to start the conversation. It was a cold night, darkness enveloping everything around them. They both waited for the other to initiate, but neither did. Dominick decided to break the silence by playing some music. The song that filled the car was:

Heart beats fast

Colors and promises

How to be brave?

How can I love when I'm afraid to fall

But watching you stand alone?

All of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow

one step closer

Hyacinth blushed listening to the lines and turned her head towards the window facing out side.

I have died everyday waiting for you

Darling don't be afraid I have loved you

For a thousand years

I'll love you for a thousand more

Time stands still

Beauty in all she is

I will be brave

I will not let anything take away

What's standing in front of me

Every breath

Every hour has come to this

One step closer

These lines defined his feelings. Dominick desperately wanted Hyacinth to understand that he had waited for her, devotedly, for a thousand years. It felt like a fairy tale, where dark forces were working against the reunion of the prince and the princess. Finally, they arrived at his house. In a gentlemanly manner, Dominick opened the car door for Hyacinth and led her inside. The sight of his house left her in awe. The front was adorned with walls of glass, a unique and breathtaking sight that she had never seen before.

He parked the car in his garage, and they both got up and moved towards the original house. She saw a beautiful swimming pool in front of the house; it was ostentatious. When she got inside, everything was well arranged. All the furniture was modern.

"This is your apartment..?" Hyacinth said with surprise.

"To me, this is an apartment because my house in California is two times bigger than this one. I own this place as I visit LA a lot..."

"Hmm," her eyes looked as though they were dreaming. He made her sit on the couch. The living room was unique and beautiful too.

There was greenery everywhere, and she loved sitting there.

"Would you like coffee or something...?"

"Don't do it; I will make it for you. I'm your P.A. after all. Just show me the way, and I will make it for us."

"Okay, but you are my guest too. If you still wish, then come," he led the way towards the kitchen.

"Do you stay here alone?" she asked, confused, thinking that a single person lives at this place.

"Yes, whenever I come here, I love this place. There are a few servants who do work for me and clean it."

"Hmm... where are they?"

"Off... I told them not to disturb me."

"Okay," they entered the kitchen, and it was one of a kind. He provided her with all the requirements and stood to admire her doing work in his house. She made coffee for them, and he gave her mugs. They were the same mugs which he uses in the office.

"My favorite mugs," he explained. They were big, black mugs with 'CL' printed on them. They went back to the room.

"Let's come to the dining room; we can work there easily." Here, the dining room came, another wonder of the world. It was so clean and big with the best furniture. Her eyes admired the place. They worked for a long time, and at last, it was 11 when Dominick spoke.

"Come, I will drop you... it's too late."

"Hmm, just wait," she was collecting her stuff.

"Before going, let's take a round trip of my house so that you know everything. After all, we are going to work here for months."

"Okay," he showed her each and every corner of his house. The last one was his own room.

It was a miracle. His room, an oasis of creativity, featured minimalist decor with white walls and natural wood accents. The large windows allowed in abundant natural light, casting a warm glow on the room's artistic chaos. Canvases leaned against the walls, partially finished, while a desk covered in sketchbooks and tools beckoned her to join in the creative journey ahead.

It was a miracle.
