Mask off

Six months went by in no time. Surprisingly, it brought some peace to Jasmine's heart. Being around Lorenzo not only got rid of her fears towards him but also made her panic attacks less. She knows had a rough idea about what went wrong in their relationship. 

That aside, the project went smoother than she had anticipated. Today was their last day at the villa together. She would have to go to the next location with another implementing partner. Jasmine looked at the image of her face in the mirror. 

Her eyes were no longer lifeless and dull. The coldness has slowly thawed with time. The more she stayed around Lorenzo the more she understood things. The more understanding she had, the more she realized how broken he was.
