Ch 1

Today was certainly different than what i expected it to be. I could feel positivity in the air for the first time after a couple of years that morning, but (ofcourse this word "but" will never leave me alone.) i was wrong because i met them.

"It is 6 o'clock already!"shouted mom. "yes ."I replied calmly. "why didn't u wake me up? asked mom with a worried face. "I was just busy thinking about something, its ok we have time." "Go change. Lets check you in before the heavens open." "hmm." I jumped down the window sill which is the only place in our entire house where i can feel better. I headed towards the washroom meanwhile mom was rushing down the stairs. She was more enthusiastic than me as if she was the new admission. I never liked to go to a new place because i cannot easily adjust myself with people around so, that is the proof that i dont have much friends. I couldn't even bath properly as my mom was continuosly knocking the door telling me to hurry. I closed the shower and said "what is with you today?, are u that desperate to send me to a stupid boarding school.""I know this is not your regular pace just hurry." I changed into a new pair of clothes. I was all ready physically but mentally i was still confused. I looked in the mirror and said," Its just two years Claire, I can do it." which was definately not true, these two years turned my life upside down.Mom being mom was already sitting in the car. "hurry up baby, erything's in the boot." I took a deep breath and sat beside mom.
