I MISS US

I got a call that I should give the documents to one of my men to give someone that will come to the gate.

I did as told and went to my wife.

When I got to our matrimonial room, I embrace my wife.

" I….. I ….." I couldn't talk , I just burst into tears, I embrace her so tight, I wept so hard and my phone rings again.

" If you want me to release me to release your parents and siblings , send your wife packing" he says.

My wife look at me and I looked at her , I hang the call and embrace my wife so tight , She embraced me tight and weep.

We both wept so hard, I looked into her eyes.

"I had no choice " I said.

" We had no choice" she said and breaks the embrace.

She quickly began to pack her things , she pack her things into three boxes and she goes to our daughter's nursery, she packs her things , she asked some maids to help her take the box into the car, she took our daughter from the nanny, we embraces, I kissed her, I carried our baby in my arms and held her to my chest and wept so hard, I embrace my wife so tight.

It took us almost twenty minutes before entering into the car, the driver drove them out of our compound, I walked a haste into my office , I hit the table hard.

An hour later Anonymous called and he said he had released my parents as siblings.

I got a call from my mom and she was talking to me tiredly thanking me, I hanged my call.

I call my brother and he told me that he has been released , he ask me what did they want from me, I didn't tell him anything, I just change the topic and tell him that Peju has called him and she is worried about him.

Jumoke also called me, I asked if she was alright, she told me she had just been released that she knows I was the one they had issue with and I told her that we have resolved it with tears  dripping down my face.

Everywhere felt empty when my wife and my daughter left my house.

SHADE.

The car drove me into my mom's place, I got out of the car and the driver help me bring my things out of the car, my mom and siblings came to me and help me.

My mom asked what was wrong, I couldn't answer, driver helped took my take my things into the house .

When we get into into the house with my mom carrying my baby.

I could see questions written all their faces.

We entered into the house, we sat 

Down, I explained to mom about what happened and that we are divorced .

I cried so hard, I go into my sisters room, My mom and my sister came to speak with me but it I couldn't stop crying because I and my husband divorce out of our own will.

KUNLE.

The moment I called my parents and siblings and knew they were alive.

I quickly got into my car, I drove out of the house, I drove straight to Shade’s mom house.

When I got there, I knock on the gate and sister comes to open the gate for me.

I greeted and asked of Shade and I was lead to her room.

She was lying in the bed curved herself to ball when I entered  into the room and she wasn't aware, I slowly touched her feet, she looked up at me and I held her hand, She burst into tears, I held her up to sit , I embraces her tight, tears dripped down my face uncontrollably as we embrace tighter.

I slowly pulled away, she looked into my eyes and I said.

" I never thought someday this will ever happen" I said as we embrace.

She break the embrace.

" Have they been released? She asked and I nod my head.

I held her hand in mine.

" No matter what you still remain my wife and the woman I loved, I will find a way to bring us back " I said.

" How? I want to come back to us? She says crying and I dry her tears.

" Even if you are not it with me, we are still us, no one can ever come between our love, I will love you till eternity" I said.

I slowly placed my lips on her lips , I took it slowly, it was so passionately we deepened the kiss, we didn't stop kissing for another five minutes before pulling away, I embrace her tighter.

" You have to go, I do not want my baby taken away from me because we do not know who this people are" she says.

" I know , I will go , I have come to give you something" I said.

I walked to my car, I open my car bring out some documents and walked back into the room.

"Take" I said stretching the document to her.

" What is this? She asked

" You can go through it later" I said, I dropped a bunch of key for her, I gave  her an ATM card.

I kissed her and decided to take my leave.

 " I have to go because I do not know if we are being watched and I do not want to get you into trouble" I said.

I kissed her deeply with tears dripping down her out faces, I pulled away and rested our head on each other's forehead.

"I love you baby" I said.

" I love you too" she says too, I walked out and she follows me.

I walked to the car and I looked back she was standing.

I walked back to her , I kissed her, embrace her tightly

" I have to go" I said. I got into the car and I drove out of the house.

As I drove through the road , I couldn't stop crying.

SHADE.

I cried back into the house as he drove of his car.

I curved myself into a ball and weep, I didn't continue to go through the documents he gave to me.

I didn't know when I drifted into sleep.

KINLE.

I angrily drove to the Chairman's house.

As the gate was open to me , I barge into his compound angrily, I walked into his house and Juliana walks up to me, I pushed her away and she falls to the ground

I entered  into the house.

" What did you gain by making me divorce my wife! I have divorce her, are you happy ! I yelled as I walked to the chairman.

" Yes I am, this is politics and my money at stake, it's time to do that right thing, we should start preparing the wedding between you and my daughter Juliana" he says.

" What?! Is that why you force a divorce between I and my wife? I asked in anger.

"Yes" he says with a wine glass in his hand.

He sips his wine.

" I will never your daughter , do your worst! I yelled.

" Then let's see who loses, you are the one who have a child to lose, If you love your daughter do as you are told" he says.

I angrily barge out of the room and go into my car, I hit the steering of my car in anger. Tears dripped down my face, I drove out angrily.

JULIANA.

I walked into the house and called one of my father's men, 

"I want you to start trailing him"I said.

" Yes ma" he replied bad walk out of the house.

He enters into the car and drove out.

I walked to my dad.

" I do not trust Kunle, he might have a plan behind his mind, he does not want anything to do with me despite he is divorced, I have send one of your men to trail him so as to know if he is still seeing that girl , I will send her where she belongs" I said.

" This time I am going to take my chances, I have a dream to be the first lady of this state and I must be" I said.

PEJU.

The moment, he called me , I was so happy because I couldn't sleep for days.

As he parked in front of our compound, I rush out and jumped at him.

I embrace him.

" What happened? I asked.

" He kissed me first, it was deep kisses, we didn't mind passerby or who was watching, we were in our own world? 

" I love you baby and I will never scare you again" he said before I could speak.

" What happened? I asked.

" I was kidnapped" he said and she quickly breaks the embrace, she looks my body around.

" Are you alright? Hope they didn't hurt you? I asked.

" I am fine , I wasn't hurt " he said.

"Are you sure? I asked.

" I need to see Kelvin " he said and we both walk into our apartment.

KUNLE.

I drove back home hating myself why I agreed with my mom five years ago when my mom spoke about going into politics , why did I agreed to it? If I wasn't in politics I will be with my family happily, I didn't  feel like going into the house because everywhere felt boring, I had to sit in my car for about thirty minutes before entering into the house, I tiredly climb the stairs to our matrimonial room and I stood and remembers the memories that were created in the room, tears dripped down my face.

I walked to Daniella's room I sit and burst into tears, I missed my family.

SHADE.

At night My sister woke me up to come and eat, I collected my daughter and embrace her.

Tears dripped down my face, I miss my husband.

My mom and sister tried to talk to me but I couldn't stop crying.

I try to sit to eat but I cannot eat the food, I just stare at it and leave the dinning, I return to the room and pet Daniella to sleep.

My phone rang, it was my husband, I picked the call.

" I miss you" he says crying.

" I miss you too" he says.

" Have you eaten? He asked.

" I couldn't eat" I said.

" I missed us eating together, everywhere in the house feels like a graveyard" He said and I burst into tears.

" I thought of something, I want to get visa for us to leave the country, that is how we can be together" he says.

" Okay, I can't wait for us to be together again" I said.

" Even I" he says.

" Listen I love you and will love you till eternity " he says.

" I love you too" I said.

" My driver will pick you and whoever you want to follow you to the new house " I cut in

" House?! I asked.

"Haven't you checked the document I gave to you? He asked.

" No" I replied.

" The documents I gave you is for house, I want you to be comfortable, I will start processing the visa as from Tomorrow, I will put in for a family Visa , I don't know much about spouse visa, I don't know how long it takes but I will make my investigation on it" he says.

" Alright" I said.

I felt relieved that in few months we would be together again.

I walked into the room checked the documents, It was a houses and two cars documents and I saw alert on my phone, I open the alert, it was alert of Twenty million naira, I was surprised, I quickly dial my husband number,  I thanked him.

We had few discussion again.

The following day.

I woke up tired and I could hear Daniella playing with her aunty, I walked to the sitting room greeted my mom and pick up Daniella.

I told my sister to get dressed that my husband driver will come and pick me up anytime.

By eleven both of us were dressed the driver drove us to this private estate, he drove us into a mansion, my sister liked at me as the car drove in.

I was surprised my husband already prepared a mansion like this for me, My Bentley  and a Benz was already there for me.

" Sister, is this where you will be living from now on? " she says and got down from the car happily has it pulls up.

I walked in and smile at what he did for me.

We look around the mansion, we walk

to the swimming pool , the lounge , I bring out my cellphone, I called him and thank him.

The place is a full security estate.

I asked the driver to go and bring my mom, I called mum and told her the driver will pick her up.

The driver goes to pick my mom up, we now stays there.

KUNLE

I couldn't sleep properly last night now because I am used to not seeing my family, I plan to go and sleep over there but I plan not to go dressed like I would have dressed out,  I decided to dress casually because I don’t want to arouse suspicion since we might be under the party chairman surveillance I dress up casually and go in a bike because .

I can’t wait to be with my wife, I miss her.

I Walked out of the gate and I picked a bike that took me to the estate gate , I entered into the gate , I walked into the gate, when I got into the house , I kissed my wife I picked up Daniella, I missed Daniella so much but it feels so much like we never got divorced.

Her mom was brought by the driver to the house to come stay with her we all had dinner prepared by both of us and everyone goes to bed because I will also be sleeping over, I find it hard to sleep alone at home.

We both put Daniella to bed as she sleeps, I turn my wife around and I kept kissing her, I carried her a bridal style into the bedroom, place her feet on the floor. we began to kiss, we deepen the kiss and began to undress each other.

" I miss you" I said as we undress.

" I miss us " I said as we kept kissing hungrily.

I lifts her up and She wraps her legs around him.

JULIANA.

I was standing on the balcony in my house with a glass of wine when the person I said should be trailing Kunle came back to me.

I told him to come in while I walked down to him.

" What did you find out ? Did you see or noticed he still sees his ex wife? I asked.

" Yes ma, she now stays in Richmond estate and they still meet up at the estate" he said to me.

I became angry, I began to pant and  threw the glass in my hand away.

I screamed my head out.

" what does she have that I do not have?!

" I need to do something right now because I won't loose out in marrying Kunle, I cannot wait this long and be close to getting him and making my ambition of a First Lady of the state come true and a low life girl would be the one standing in my way.
