As soon as she sent Suyin away, Meixiu quickly went back to the house and was greeted by Xiaowen, who had her eyebrows furrowed and her arms crossed on her chest.

"Isn't that the young lady from the Jia family?"

Xiaowen asks, wanting to make sure she saw the person who just talked and acted shyly in front of her daughter-in-law.

Meixiu's smiling face quickly faded, and she went to the kitchen, not wanting her mother-in-law to know anything about her and Suyin's relationship.

"You're not going to answer me!? How are you so ungrateful!?"

Xiaowen followed Meixiu into the kitchen. Seeing the girl washing the dishes, she went to her side and faced towards herself, wanting to squeeze an answer from her.

"Is it the young lady from the Jia family?"

Xiaowen repeated herself, her eyes glaring at Meixiu.

The girl in question could only look at her mother-in-law blankly, wondering whether she told her the truth or not.

Meixiu sighs and nods her head, as Xiaowen wouldn't let her breathe if she were to stay silent.

"Why are you friends with the young lady?"

Xiaowen asks, her eyebrows furrowing in the process, as it seems impossible for someone like Suyin to be friends with garbage.

She couldn't understand why a respected lady from a well-known family would be friends with an orphan.

Meixiu said it was more like asking. Xiaowen glared at her and sneered before crossing her arms over her chest.

"Can you answer it correctly?"

An employee inside the building heard the door opening, making her quickly walk towards it and dust her clothing.

The employee quickly stopped upon seeing Meixiu walking in and sneered, crossing her arms before walking back to her space earlier.

Meixiu furrowed her eyebrows before shrugging her shoulders and walking towards the latest car in the store.

"Who went in?"

A fat man went out of the door behind where the girl and asked who had gone inside.

The girl pointed at Meixiu as the manager sighs and leans on the door frame.

"Would you want me to chase her out?"

"No, she just wants to feel the cool air."

Meixiu ignored their conversation. The two wanted to let her know she wasn't welcome.

Meixiu shrugs her shoulders before walking towards one of the most expensive ones in the store.

Meixiu opened the door, and she instantly fell in love with how beautiful the interior is.

This car would make Xiaohui fall in love with how beautiful it is.

Though Meixiu felt a little worried because it was so luxurious and it seems like Xiaohui wouldn't drive the car.

Yet she still decided to buy it.

Looking up, she saw the two looking at her, but they quickly diverted their eyes away from Meixiu.

The girl furrowed her eyebrows before walking towards the counter.

"Excuse me, I'd like to buy that car."

Meixiu said, pointing at the car she just went and saw.

The girl and the manager side-eyed her before sneering as the manager pointed his finger at her.

"A beggar like you will be able to buy that car? It's only for our sophisticated customers!"

He yelled, his saliva flying across to where Meixiu was. The girl's face became grim as she wiped the smelly saliva from the fat man.

"What? You think it's dirty? My saliva is more expensive than you!"

"How will you be able to afford that?"

The girl spoke, doubting her eyes as a beggar wanted to buy the most sophisticated and luxurious car they are selling.

Heck, even if she worked her ass off her whole life, she wouldn't be able to afford the car.

How could someone like Meixiu, who seems to not study anything and looks like a dumb person that can be easily pulled by scammers, afford that?

That's impossible.

Meixiu sighs before she draws the card that Yanlin gave her.

The two eyed the card, squinting their eyes before looking at each other and snickering.

Meixiu furrowed her eyebrows as the two started to cackle, their eyes becoming teary in the process.

"Do you think you can fool us again?"

It's a common technique beggars use to steal and run away with a car. They would show them cards that were unfamiliar and tell them that there was just one of them in the world.

Of course they would believe; as someone who doesn't know how the higher-ups work, they would believe, give the key, and try the card.

By the time they finish and find out it was fraud, the thief has already run away from the store, leaving the door wide open.

With how they are getting tricked, they would lock the other door to stop the thief, but the thief would break the lock.

With almost four cars getting stolen, they needed to stop, and by that, looking at someone closely and observing their actions.

"What do you mean?"

"We know you'll use that card to busied us and get the car."

The fat man stopped laughing as he glared at Meixiu.

"Yeah, just go away!"

The girl continued as she swayed her hands, doing the motion of shrugging the dog off.

Meixiu's eyes became blank as her hand that was holding the card tightened. She nodded before putting it in her pocket.

"Listen here, do you see that store?"

Meixiu said, pointing at the store in front of the company.

The two smirks widen as they nod their heads.

"I'll go there and walk out in a car."

Meixiu said before she strides forward onto the door. Before she could walk out, the fat man yelled at her.

"Yeah sure! We'll wait for the good show!"

He said as Meixiu slammed the door shut. The two looked at her figure before the girl spoke.

"Do you think she'll be able to get a car?"

"I doubt it; that store has heavy security, and she wouldn't be able to run away with it."
