I Have Your Child

A few days have passed, Jon finally arrives in a village in Northern California. He asked Cathy several times to let him know where she was currently staying, and she finally gave him the address, hoping that they could talk. "I am going to tell him today about the baby," she told Anthony earlier at breakfast when he called her up to ask if she needed anything. "That would be great," he replied. "I want you to be happy, but Catherine, if this guy hurts you whatsoever, call me and I'll kick him out." Cathy laughed, and thanked him for being a great guy and neighbour. She had already met his mother, who happened to be one of her mother's colleagues a few years back. Jennifer was a successful teacher, she got married in her thirties because she valued her students and her work more than her own personal life. Missus Brooks offered Cathy a job at a newly built school nearby after she gives birth so she could somehow support her child.
