6 Chapter 6- She didn't give up!

Aaron, who was still lost on how everything just happened so fast right before his eyes.... One minute he was begging Sharon to not give up on her life and the next minute he was holding her body against his to stop her from falling.

Aaron tried to process everything but it was just too complicated for his mind to digest the incident that fast, so he decided to recollect every event that happened one after the other.

Aaron saw himself back in the scene where he was begging Sharon and trying his best to heal her wound, the wound had so much dark energy in it that it was taking so long to heal but he still continued to beg and persuade her to not give up until he felt her heartbeat stop, and that was when he realised that he had lost himself completely....His soul and heart had given up on living along with her and only his mind was working.

He couldn't believe that everything ended up this way, he didn't predict this happening..... No his Sharon would come back, she loved him too much to give up on him so quickly and she still had their second baby in her, so she wouldn't let that baby die with her too.

As he continued thinking... He heard her heartbeat come back to live.

Though it was slow and steady but it was still beating and just that gave Aaron hope. His wife was still with him.

In his daze of happiness, he saw Sharon open her eyes suddenly, like she had a nightmare as she gasped for air like she was drowning and just came to the surface and tried to grasp as much air as she could.

Aaron couldn't believe his eyes.... His wife actually came back, she fought death and suceeded, his hellbent wife defeated death and took control of her fate. He was so shocked on how she did it.... Nobody including dieties could fight death and return back to live just like that without a miracle but she did it, her determination was just too much for him to take in.

He felt like he was in a daze, a daze that he couldn't get out of, but he was very aware of his surroundings, he saw her look at him like she had so many questions to ask but he just couldn't speak, His thoughts were so jambled up that he couldn't make himself talk.

She looked as though she was confused on how she ended up there in his hands and on the floor, he could only stare back at her.... But his emotions were all over the place.

He wondered if she couldn't remember what happened before she became unconscious but he was so happy that she came back for him... For their child but he wondered why he couldn't talk or move his body, he felt like he was paralyzed.

He saw Sharon turn her face towards another place when she saw that he was in a daze and he didn't answer her questioning daze....he started feeling anxious when he thought of if Sharon would remember everything when she saw Serina.

He didn't want her to remember those painful memories.... She would have to relive it once again and that alone was torture.

He tried to bring himself out of the invisible chains that bound him but he just couldn't.... He could only watch his wife.

He saw how her eyes wandered round the battlefield and to his dismay they landed on Serina.

He saw her widen her eyes in despair and horror and then he knew.....No he was sure that everything came flashing back to her painfully like a thousand sharp needles.

He saw how the look on her face change from despair to rage and anger and just seeing that look on her face, he knew what she wanted to do....She wanted to kill her baby's murderer with her own hands, so she launched herself towards Serina and just at that moment the chains that were holding him from talking, walking and feeling suddenly broke and he could control his body once again but he didn't move an inch from where he was.

He knew that him going there still wouldn't change anything because once his wife sets her mind to something, nothing at all will stop her except herself so he could only pray that she doesn't end up doing it.

It was not that he didn't want Serina dead, he just didn't want his wife's clean hands to be stained with such unclean and filthy blood like that of Serina.

She was still clean....She hasn't killed anyone yet, even when she fought, all she did was render them unconscious or make them crippled but she had never taken a life before and he didn't want Serina's life to be the first life she would take.

His Sharon had a very innocent face but she was wild, crazy and extremely stubborn with a strong will and determination and just that made her get to where she was.... She was so strong and quick-witted, That he was sure that if she gets angry, she could even surpass him in all ramifications.

But now she's lost all the will to live and her mind was covered in bloodlust, she was after Serina's life and she just wanted to kill her but he knew deep down that killing her won't give his wife peace.

No, it will just make her feel more worse at the end and he couldn't risk that happening so he decided he was going to stop her one way or another..... Even if he had to sacrifice himself to do that.

He would rather kill Serina himself and bear the brunt of his actions than let Sharon do it and become a living dead for the rest of her life.

He wouldn't let Serina cause more problems for his family (which she had already done) in her death, He'd prefer to end her there and then all by himself.

As he was about to get up and deal with Serina, he saw his wife stop in her advances. She looked like she was in lot of pain as she clutched her wounded stomach and he knew there and then that his wife had come back to her senses.

His other child has brought it's mother to her senses..... It had done what he couldn't do and instead of feeling bad, he felt proud of his child

As much as he wanted to keep the two of them alive, He had lost one of them and he had to move on for the sake of his wife and his second child.

So he proceeded to walk towards Sharon, then he noticed she was crying..... She had tears in her eyes

His wife was mourning her baby's death. He saw her take steps backwards subconsciously and the expression on her face showed that she was giving up again.

No will to fight again.... Her whole life was lost?.

She was about to fall when he rushed foward and caught his wife in his arms.

And when he saw the full view of her face, all he saw on her very pale face was a pain filled expression. But he could still see the light in her eyes.... It was fine but it was there.

She didn't give up!.
