Elena groaned as she woke up, her eyes widening in panic when she glanced at the clock.
She had overslept, and the realization hit her like a punch to the gut.
"Shit!" she exclaimed, scrambling out of bed and rushing to get ready for school.
She quickly brushed her teeth, threw on her clothes, and hastily tied her hair into a messy bun.
Grabbing her backpack, Elena glanced around her room in a hurry, but there was no sign of Eden.
"Oh no, Eden must have already left," she muttered to herself, feeling a mix of disappointment and frustration.
But it later into a happy smile, remembering what happened between them last night.
She was singing and didn't know when she slept off.
maybe Eden was the one who carried her to her bed.
With a renewed sense of urgency, Elena dashed out of the house, her footsteps echoing in the empty hallways.
Elena walked through the school gates, feeling the weight of the stares from her classmates.
It was a familiar sensation, one that she had grown accustomed to over time.
As she made her way down the hallways, Elena noticed Emily, her close friend, waiting by their usual meeting spot.
A smile formed on Elena's face as she approached her.
"Hey, Emily!" Elena greeted warmly, her voice filled with genuine affection.
Emily returned the smile, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "
Hey, Elena! How's it going?" she asked, her voice brimming with enthusiasm.
Elena shrugged, her smile fading slightly.
"Same old, same old," she replied nonchalantly.
"Just another day of navigating the stares and whispers."
Emily's expression softened .
"Well, don't let them get to you. You're amazing just the way you are really popular," she said.
Elena nodded, . "Yeah just getting used to it"
Emily's gaze shifted, her eyes lighting up with excitement.
"Oh, by the way, are you ready for the practice? It's going to be intense today," she said, her voice filled with anticipation.
Elena's face brightened, the earlier stares momentarily forgotten.
"Absolutely! I've been looking forward to it all week," she replied, her voice filled with determination. "I'm ready to give it my all."
The two friends walked together towards the practice area, their conversation flowing effortlessly as they discussed their strategies and goals for the upcoming session.
Selena's heart raced as she listened to the shocking news over the phone.
Her plan to eliminate Elena had taken an unexpected turn.
How could the men she had hired to carry out the deed end up unconscious and the police now involved? Panic surged through Selena's veins, but she quickly composed herself and began to devise a new strategy.
Setting the phone down, Selena paced back and forth in her lavish room, her mind racing with possibilities.
She had underestimated Elena's resourcefulness and the resilience of her allies.

"You won't escape this time Elena!" She smiled evilly.
