The next day as usual we walked to school, when reached the church ground, we met with Daniel Reid again he was walked towards us, I left with Bella and Chole today, Olivia was speaking with him, I turned to check if Olivia was coming but for my surprise, both Daniel and Olivia were looking at me. I was a little surprised but just walked away from there as we reached another side of the gate Olivia ran toward us.

I just glanced at her she smiled at me but didn't say anything and didn't bother with her. Days passed by and our regular classes started, it was a little tough here because of the new teaching methods. I was working very hard to make sure that I get good marks, it's was already winter by now we were happy for the Christmas celebration in our new school, and for these months one thing Olivia has been watching and I had no idea that...

Daniel Reid has made it a routine to come near the church gate every day at the same time we were going to school and stand there to watch us still we disappeared. Olivia was very curious about this and asked one day,

"Hai Megan have you seen Daniel Bro standing here everyday"

but I just shrugged my shoulder and said,

"No, I was not aware, maybe it was a coincidence, he stayed nearby and was in church every day with some business of his own"

but she didn't buy it. After she said me that even I felt a little weird about it, and every day him waiting there at the same time and the way he looks at me, was very strange to me, but I ignored these thoughts as our test was on its way before our winter break, I need to prepare well. Our test started in the first week of December.

I, Jia had made every deal of becoming very close to each other, she even stopped going out with her old friends for lunch, Clara was also with us we were not that close, I and Jia were studying together during our free time in the library, collecting notice, we were much worried, because the last test we both didn't score well, so wanted to catch-up with this time. Our test was over and we started to decorate our school for Christmas.

We had a very big Christmas celebration at school, we were allowed to wear colour dress for the celebration. I wore a sky blue long dress, with pearl embedded on its neck, it was high neck dress which completely covered my body but exposed my body curves well, this dress was bought by my sister Ava when she came home last time, with complete accessories, it had a pearl long earring, bracelet, and pearl hair clip, I left my long hair to flow down with the only hairclip clipped on top, I wore silver colour sandal with pearls embedded on it. I looked at myself before coming out. My mom and dad looked at me, mom was surprised to look at me like this, it was the first time I dress like this, my dad said I looked very good. My brother came to me,

"who's the lady in our home, where my baby sister",

he was teasing me, he also offered to drop me at school, but I said I wanted to go with my friends. Bella and Chole also were well dressed, Bella wore a pink frock, while Chole wore a knee-length sea green dress. We said bye to our parents and walked to school, I saw Olivia wearing a peach colour half shoulder dress, she looked very beautiful in it. We four us talking about our plan for winter break, as we had nearly a month leave, I said,

" I am planning to visit my sister in her university with my brother, as we have not visited her for a long time",

as we spoke about the vacation we had reached the church ground, I saw Daniel Reid in the same place where he stands every day, for a change he was sitting on the stone bench there, with a little girl in his hand playing with her, as he saw us he smiled at Olivia, and I was curious about the little cute girl in his arms. Olivia walked to him patted the little girl head, calling her Angle, I waited for her to come back so we can to school, every time I wait for Olivia.

Bella and Chole will leave me there and go, I felt bad because they may have a miss understanding, that I don't bother about them, so I told Olivia I'm leaving, she can come after done talking to them, but Olivia said bye to them and walked to me holding my hands said,

"OK let's go"

We walked, I didn't ask anything about her chatting with Daniel, but I was curious to know about that cute little girl Angel. Our celebration went very well, we had danced, had fun finished our lunch, our Principle had a "thank you" speech to all staff and children as it was the year ending, and declared our vacation for a month. We left school, wishing everyone advance Christmas and New year wishes.

As we reached church ground I saw Daniel Reid sitting on the same stone bench, it was surprising, he never showed up in the evening, this was the first time, I was puzzled of his look, he looked very disappointed and sad, I don't why I felt my blood dripping from heart looking at him like that, I was surprised of my own feelings, I didn't understand what was happening to me. I walked away from there, when we reached the gate I saw dad waiting for us in his car, I was so happy to see him, I ran to the car and dad opened the door for me and also said to my friends to get in. I sat in the passenger seat next to my dad, while the other three girls sat in the back seat. I turned to my left to put on my seat belt, I saw Daniel walking out the gate with a hanged face, but when I looked at him, he smiled...

I was completely shocked at his smile, he had never smiled at me from the first time we met, My mind was out of its place, I didn't know how to react, I just saw him with my eyes widely opened with surprise, our car started to move, and I turned to my dad, who had his hand on my head and asking me

'tried'

I shook my head, I was still puzzled with thought why did he smile at me from nowhere. God sake somebody tells me, I was screaming in my head. While I was thinking about this, my dad said he came early today to pick me because I could have been tried of celebration, and he didn't want me all the way walk home, we dropped Olivia on way and went home, Bella and Chole said bye and thank you, my dad, as they left. I was very tired and took shower and laying on the bed was thinking about the smiling guy an hour ago, I was not able to come out his smile, to be honest, he looked dame cute when he smiled, back to reality, change of plan even dad and mom joined us on a visit to my sister.
