The Birth of Vengeance

When the kids were called for the next meeting, they were given ultimatums.

"If you don't want to work together, there is another option for you," Jim had said, and both Cheryl and Eric had anxiously waited for what was to be said next.

"What is it?" Eric asked impatiently.

"Venture into your own businesses. We can look for different people who are willing to work together. It's not such a big problem." Jim said with finality.

"Are you firing us?" Cheryl asked in disbelief.

"I'm asking you to choose the easiest option. "Jael said.

Cheryl and Eric looked at each other. Eric didn't have a choice since he knew the parents were yet to talk about Serena's involvement in the business. Cheryl said that she didn't mind as long as her business didn't fail.

'Doesn't fail indeed.' She thought to herself as she smiled.

"Hey!" Eric asked as he stood by Cheryl's door.
