1 NAKED

[NEW MOUNT HOTEL, ROOM NO. 69]

Grabbing her throbbing head, Emma Parker got up in a daze. Her mind was still groggy from the unplanned and unexpected heavy drinking session she had last night.

Slowly opening her eyes, she noticed something strange which made her frown. This wasn’t her bedroom. The whole room was bigger than the apartment she shared with her friend.

As she was busy figuring out what was happening, something caught her attention which made her gasp in horror. There was a pair of hands wrapped around her which definitely did not belong to a single person.

Throwing her hand over her mouth to stop herself from making any sound, she looked at the two gorgeously handsome men who were fast asleep right beside her bilaterally.

Emma was horrified and the thought of what might have happened last night scared her even more.

Taking a few deep breaths, she closed her eyes and muttered under her breath, “Please don’t be naked…please don’t be naked…..” while peeking inside the sheets which covered her.

And to her greatest horror, she was NAKED.

Gulping in nervousness, she turned towards one of the men and peeked inside the sheets only to find the man as naked as she was.

Covering her mouth with both her hands, she widened her eyes in shock. She wanted to squeal but making a sound that would wake both the men up was the last thing she wanted.

Instead, she decided to do something any sensible human being would do, RUN AWAY.

Without wasting any time, she tried to jiggle out of their embrace and slowly crawled out of the bed. She then tiptoed around the room gathering her clothes which were all over the place.

And as soon as she finished dressing up, she ran out of the room as fast as she could thinking this was the end of the big mess she had gotten herself into.

[16 HOURS AGO, TRINITY CLUB]

“But my shift is over and it’s not my work—” When the manager did not say anything, Emma sighed in dejection. “You can’t do this to me, it's the weekend for God’s sake.” She had no intention of working late but she also knew the manager wouldn't let her go.

“You know I wouldn’t ask you to do this if Jennifer hadn’t taken an unexpected leave and if this wasn’t very very important.” Without waiting for her reply, the manager added, “You have to do this for the club.”

Groaning in frustration, she asked, “Why me? There are so many other staff members who can fill in for her. I am not even a waitress, I am a bartender, remember?”

Twenty-four-year-old Emma Parker worked at the Trinity club for seven years now. She started working there as a waitress at the young age of seventeen and switched to being a bartender as soon as she turned eighteen.

Not only was she one of the oldest employees of the club, but she was also exceptionally good at what she did, which is why the manager favored her over other employees.

Leaving home at the young age of fourteen in order to escape from her greedy and abusive parents, things had been pretty rough and tight for Emma all her life.

Initially, it was very difficult for her to manage her expenses and education with the odd jobs she got as a young teenager. She barely managed to survive with no permanent roof over her head. But things got a bit easier when she started getting used to the new environment and learned the different ways one had to use in order to survive in the outside world.

Things got even better when she got the job as a waitress at the Trinity club and met her best friend, Anna, who was also her roommate.

Though money was still a serious problem, Emma was satisfied with how independent she was. Her life was at peace, something she would have never experienced if she had decided to stick by her abusive parents' side.

Despite all the hardships and challenges Emma had faced in her life, she was a very optimistic and charismatic woman. Though she had left her parents' side at a very young age and was all by herself for her entire teenage and after, she didn’t turn out to be a reckless and spoilt individual as everyone had expected. Instead, she turned out to be a strong, confident, and independent woman who knew how to present and carry herself.

“I very well remember that you are a bartender and no more a waitress and I would have never asked you to fill in for her if it wasn’t this important.”

Crossing her arm in the front, Emma curiously asked, “What is this important thing?”

“The Anderson brothers are coming today.” When she gave him a blank look, the manager sighed. “Please don’t tell me you don’t know who they are—”

Shrugging her shoulders, she said, “Well, I wouldn’t be cluelessly staring at you if I knew who they were.”

“Daniel and Owen Anderson from the Anderson Enterprise—”

“Wait, are they by any chance the front cover faces in the latest fashionista magazine?” she asked.

The manager enthusiastically nodded his head and exclaimed, “Of course, not only that but they are also entitled as the most handsome and eligible bachelors of this year. And the youngest brother, Daniel Anderson, is the number one face of this year’s business magazine for the fifth consecutive time followed by his brother Owen Anderson.”

“Interesting, why are they coming here tonight?”

“They are coming here to celebrate Owen’s twenty-ninth birthday,” the manager answered.

“The older one?” When he nodded his head, she asked, “Okay so what do you want from me, boss?”

Placing his hands on her shoulder, the manager explained, “As you can tell, they are the most important guests we have ever had, the club cannot afford to make any mistakes or do anything to offend them. And I know I can’t trust anyone but you.”

“But why me?” she sighed. “What if I mess up?”

“Of course, you won’t, you are our most experienced and professional employee. I know you are gonna do great.”
