A terrible Beauty

After that meeting with Mr. Frensby and knowing the details, Kevin briefly studied the case.

Soon, he took his coat and walked out of the room, only then his eyes fall on his secretary.

He hesitantly asked, "Sir, are you leaving?"

"Yea, you can leave too. There isn't much to do"

Kevin was about to leave but he noticed his strange behavior and asked "Do you want to say something?"

He hesitant for a while before finally uttering "Sir.. that... Are you really going to take that case?"

Honestly, that case wasn't something new. It was already all over the media and anyone could tell how much that woman has been gone through, but still if his boss takes over this case. He can turn everything upside down in no time.

Without hesitating, Kevin said straightforwardly looking at him "Well, Yea. They are paying me well"

He couldn't hide his expression after hearing what he just said and just stared at him.

Kevin raised his eyebrows seeing his expression "Look if you are going to say something like 'Justice or that woman has gone through so much and all' then let me tell you I am not going to lecture you about 'This is all that we do- We are lawyers- Money is everything or that's how the world works'"

His secretary gulped.

While Kevin just smirked, leaning forward he said in a cold voice "All you need to know is that I don't care"

After he just smiled coldly and left.

After seeing he finally left, his secretary finally sighed deeply in relief, "I knew that he was a jerk but no he's totally an asshole"

"You guys sure this will work," Ian said tiredly looking at the rear mirror,

Kyro just stayed silent as he stared back at Sera, she was totally focused staring at that man with a smirk. No matter what something about her was really different, that he just can't ignore her.

"Fuck! That bitch really is here" Ian said as his eyes went wide when he saw Lily here.

He was about to get off the car but then suddenly Sera stopped him.

"Now what?" Ian asked in frustration. He was totally done seeing it actually was Lily who wanted to kill him.

"We don't need to do anything, just wait"

Ian frowned and look at Kyro, he just shrugged his shoulder and they both look at Sera.

Sera smirked as she looks at that man and then stared back at her phone.

As if she was waiting for something, and then suddenly just in a second her phone buzzed.

Sera smiled evilly and place the call on speaker.

"You really got some guts to call me here" A lady's voice came, Ian immediately recognized her voice it was Lily.

"Tell me what happened? Looking at you I don't think you guys were able to kill him"

Ian controlled himself after hearing that, he scoffed as he said in an annoyed tone"This bitch!"

"No... We were about to kill him but"

Before he could complete his sentence, she cut him off "Really? Then what happened?"

"There was a girl with him"

Lily frowned as she asked "A girl? Who was she?"

"I.. don't know. But she wasn't just any ordinary girl. That girl killed my friends and saved him"

Lily frowned deeper then scoffed "That jerk, there hasn't even been a week since we broke up and he is already with a girl. Seriously!"

"How did she look? Was she a celebrity? Prettier than me? Is someone famous? Did you take a good look at her? Tell me!"Lily asked one by one looking at him like some creep.

"Ah!... She was ...scary."

She raised her eyebrows as she asked "Scary?"

He hesitates as he explained "Yes, she killed all my partners in a blink of an eye she was a complete terrible beauty"

She laughed evilly as she looks at him "Now I am excited to meet her"

She looked at her secretary and signaled. Her secretary nod and pass him the money.

"Thank you... Thank You" he just hurriedly left after taking the money.

"Hey, What is this terrible beauty?" She asked her secretary

She nods before explaining "Miss. Something like this rose, they are beautiful but..."

She took the rose and pass to her boss.

The moment she holds that rose, she flinches in pain. And her secretary continued looking at the blood "But they come with thorns"

She chuckled as she looks at the blood and then took out her phone staring at Ian's picture, she said playfully "Now I am excited to meet your rose and... crush her into pieces"
