~A Few Minutes Ago~

While bathing, the sound of her doorbell jolted Skai from her thoughts. As much as she tried enjoying the bath, she found Zoe's useless claims annoying. 

'Did I hear my doorbell ring or is it from the next apartment?' 

She paused to ponder. After taking out her trash this morning, she forgot to lock her door using her keys. 'Tsk. I better lock my door before I witness another episode of crazy.'

The thought of Zoe walking into her apartment and raining down curses on her because of Craig made her shudder.

She felt irritable just thinking of how ill-mannered the latter was. 

Skai immediately picked up her white towel from the hanger and wrapped it around her chest as she made her way to the living room.

"I pity her, she doesn't know you ditched work for my mate." Skai halted in her steps.
