93 Meeting

CHAPTER 93

At home, after Jared's departure, she had enough time to revisit all the words both guys told her. 

Damien wasn't planning on letting her go and Jared was determined to win her heart. At this point, all she could wonder about was who should she choose or if should she make a choice at all.

Ring! Ring!

It took a few seconds for her to break from her trance and focus on her surroundings. Lazily, Skai narrowed her eyes on her phone screen. 'Who could it be?'

Her heart skipped a beat when she saw a name she never expected to see on her phone at all. 

"Father," Skai mumbled, blinking away the remnants of her thoughts as she answered the ringing phone. 

"Hello?" Picking at a loose thread on the armrest, Skai waited for a response. Silence stretched on the other end.

'Perhaps it was a mistake? Well, it's not like father would need anything from me. I better end the ca…'
