"What are you doing here?" 

CLAP!

BRRRRHHH!!!!

The sound of the heavy thunder jolted Skai up from her sleep as her heart raced in her chest. 

'I heard voices.' Skai blinked.

'What's going on?'

She scanned the living room, her mind trying its best to wrap her head around the situation she was in but all she saw was darkness.

BRRRRRRHHH!

Lightning lit up the sky outside, and the sudden brightness lit the room briefly, enough for Skai to catch a glimpse of someone standing opposite the couch on which she slept — Damien.

His eyes flashed a darker shade of emerald green as the lightning struck again, making him look more dreadful than before.
