CHAPTER 115

Once Damien took his leave, Jared walked into the office, his eyes never leaving Skai's face. 

She lowered her head, avoiding his gaze while her cheeks still flushed from the intense encounter with Damien. There was tension in the room and Jared's presence only added to the charged atmosphere.

To make matters worse her nosy colleagues all had their eyes glued once more on her office. 

Before, when Damien had unfrozen time, the way they went about their business proved to her that something other than freezing time had occurred.

'It's like they forgot about what happened between us. No wonder Damien was so chill. Tsk. I lost this time around.' Skai thought.

"Skai… We need to talk."

Skai nodded, her eyes still cast downward, her mind racing with thoughts of Damien and the intimate moments they shared. 

When Jared noticed her spacing out, he called out again, "Skai."
