A dead body
The thunderstorm echoed in pitch black sky where the blood moon was completely concealed with dark clouds loaded with rain ready to fell down.
A strong and loud lightening bolt made the rain loaded cloud to burst and very next moment it started to pour down. The strong bolt piercing the dark clouds landed muddy hill causing land slide. The big boulders fell down crossing the road and blocking them. The only way to exit beautiful city of Arizona was blocked, many cars slipped down in valley.
Soon, the area was surrounded by ambulance, police vans and JCB pulling mud from road, clearing them. Suddenly another thunder bolt hit the muddy hill and few big muddy boulders rolled down. A big boulder breaks down hitting the JCB and something unexpected came into sight of workers.
A dead body completely covered in mud was lying there in between the boulders. With the continuous rainfall, mud from the body slowly flowed down revealing pale white skin.
Immediately paramedics and life savers came there and took out the body from debris. Then paramedics checked on him and found it dead. Later it was shifted in a van and was shifted to Police custody.
Otherside, in a cozy cabin a girl with her headphones on, legs resting on desk over each other was sitting with a book in her hand. Her head was moving in sync with beats playing on her headphones.
Suddenly a young man in early 20's ran into cabin panting heavily,
“Dr. Dawson!! There’s....... There’s a land slide at west outskirt of city" said the guy panting.
His words didn’t made any difference to girl she was still busy in her little comfy zone.
“Police has brought a body for autopsy, it is covered in mud without any external injury" said guy wiping small beads of sweat from his forehead.
The girl swiftly moved her foot down the desk and closed her books. She pulled her specs from her hairs back to nose bridge.
“Now you talk about something that has something to do with us, let’s go assistant Jace" said girl and stood up. She pick up her apron and wore it. She then walked out with long strides, with her headphones still on. Jace almost ran after her trying to catch her speed.
“Dr. Dawson, you have lot to look after" said a fat police man pointing towards the morgue.
“Finally constable, brought something for my hands to work on" said Dr. Dawson and saluted the fat constable. She walked inside the room and put her mask on. She took a fresh pair of gloves and pulled them on her hand.
“Jace, please check for any surface scars or marks” said Dr. Dawson as she starts inspecting the body on stretcher. From top she started inspecting head and stopped at mouth. She pushed the mandible down and opened mouth. She put her three fingers inside the month trying to check the buccal cavity.
With a loud sound of thunderstorm, lights went off with scream echoing inside the room
“Ahhhhhhhhhh...............................”
