A MISSION

Jonah glared at me from the couch, I think he sensed that I was not about to hand them some sort of good news.

I took a deep breath and glanced at Dennis and Adrian, both men seemed uneasy. I knew that they both didn't  like seeing Jonah mad, no matter how tough they were, he was still the son of an Alpha, the brother of an Alpha.

Jonah was stronger than them and could probably command them if he wanted.

I frowned at the thought of my brother's untapped potential, it made me sad.

'Don't let your thoughts wander.' Hercules reminded me as he got me to focus on the task at hand.

I was already prepared for the tantrum my brother would throw.

"There were some very serious discussions during the council meeting." I told my father and brother. "It wasn't your ordinary update and watch kind of thing."

I combed my fingers through my hair as I tried to get rid of the anxiety.
