36 I think I'm in Love With You

"Olivia Twyne, was it?" Goodd asked.

Olivia hesitantly nodded.

He wiped an imaginary sweat from his forehead, sighing in relief.

"You saved me again for the second time on two consecutive days." Goodd smiled sheepishly. "I think you're my lifesaver." 

"Didn't you say you have it handled?" Olivia raised an eyebrow.

"I was obviously lying," He grunted. "I thought you were someone else."

"'Someone else?'" Olivia repeated. "Like who?"

"Like anybody else in Huxley who would bully me if they saw me burn strips of bacon," Goodd remarked. "Even more so knowing that I'm a cooking club member. Well, the 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 member." He added as an afterthought.

"You don't think I'd bully you?" She asked.

"You're the first person to smile kindly at me in the whole three years I've been studying in Huxley," He admitted with a blush. "Also, you saved me from Amada 𝘢𝘯𝘥 Twyne. No one has ever done that for me before."
